No Phat customers..be safe.

This fuckin blows. It's been almost a month and it seems like we're no closer to figuring out what the fucks going on. He just pops up here and there with some random ass post.

Are you convinced that the person posting under his account is him?

I do not believe that it is.

If he is, ahem, "unavailable for comment" (does not have internet access where he is currently "staying") or knows he is under surveillance and is being advised to absolutely stay away from any contact with anyone connected to 'the game', then we wouldn't hear from him, right?

As far as it being him I really can't say, but it doesn't seem like his writing style. I was thinking if he is working with LE that he could could just lay low and pop up months later praying on new members.

If it isn't him then I guess this is as far as it goes. And the post should be disregarded

There is no working with law enforcement. They pinch you and when you realize that your life is fucking over the dick sucking begins. They hand over everything. Millard was on point to post his findings but if anyone confuses that with nophat actually still being who he says he is - needs their head examined. Writing styles blah fucking blah.... People need to look at the big picture. LE is already in information harvest mode and by means of all things nophat.

I agree that LE is on a information hunt when it comes to nophat. And that fact is what really matters

To add to what Notits is saying, you have to read, carefully, what Millard is saying. It's all in the timing. Millard looked at the IP activity AFTER the possibility of Nophat's account being jeopardized was presented to him. In other words, by the time Millard looked into it, the Nophat debacle/potential bust was already happening. And the logged IP activity could not be viewed from any older than 48 hours previous.

So, if someone else was already accessing his account at the time Millard first looked into it, and the same person/group was accessing it today, of course the same IP address would be showing. But that DOES NOT mean that the same person we know as Nophat is the same person posting today.

I hope that makes sense.

bickel29 nails it down again!
Also... We have figured out how squeeze oil from rocks...
Don't you think that keeping an IP address to appear as though nothing has changed is probably within the realm of possibility?

Whoever may be using nophat's computer could well be controlling it remotely or using it right at nophat's place. Or that the IP has been locked/spoofed.

Its really as simple as - RealVNC

Like @bickel29 said it was to late when Millard checked into it. But even if it wasn't and we are clear that it's nophats actual IP it does not matter. A single client server remote and you cannot tell any different.

Exactly. I am familiar with RealVNC as I use it in my IT work as a service desk professional. Even Remote Desktop is another good tool.

I first learned of realvnc and its fantastic uses when becoming proficient in the use of sub7 [emoji6]
Yep, sub7 is what permits attackers to remotely control a victim's pc as it opens certain ports that allows tools like RealVNC to connect.
