I havent been on HST for a while now. Right now Im dieting using Lyle's UD2 along with the workout specified for it. 3-4 workouts per week. When I go back to HST I havent decided on 3 or 6 days per week. I was thinking of having a sled made for me so that I could confuse my neighbors. ;) Make em wonder why Im dragging some piece of metal around behind me.

A sled would be a good investment.

I dunno about UD2, I have no idea what that is. Good luck with that.

As for HST, don't worry. Its a good program, and if you use a sled a lot you won't get fat. Just stuff your face, cuz life's too short to not eat.

You can check out info on the UD2 at www.bodyrecomposition.com

I figure I could have a sled built locally for $50 or so, and drag that badboy around my neighborhood. Maybe that would be a better investment than a stationary bike, though a bike is easier to use in bad weather.

Cool, I'll skope it out later.

You can't beat a sled, and you could always improvise when the weather gets bad.

Dude, we very skillfully hijacked this thread. Kudos. lol

I think people would see such better reasults if they knew how to eat right. Kind of like the people at the gym that you see in there all the time but their bodies never change.

Ice cream. I love that shit. Bunny tracks and mintchoc. chip our my favorites. Ever try bunny tracks? You ever try casey's pizza yet? they have taco for 9.99 this month. Best pizza you can get. I got one sat. and tues. and will probably get another this weekend

I've never eaten bunny tracks. I've eaten moose and turtle tracks, though. I have had Casey's pizza before. It's not bad. Certainly ain't no good Chicago pizza, but it works when you're in the sticks. I would never eat a taco pizza, either. If I wanted to eat a taco, then i would eat a taco. I mostly only eat cheese pizza. I'm pretty plain in my eating. Sandwhiches? Bread and meat. I don't need any other shit.

Yes, yes you are a queer bodybuilder now. lol, jk bro.

I dont worry at all about not having a partner. Not much I can do about it, especially since I workout at various times during the day and not on a regular schedule. Oh well. I play Rob Zombie most of the time or old school Metallica. I make pretty good progress and have been doing well with my diet the past 6 weeks or so. Once I get back to having an income, I need to pick up some sort of cardio equip (prob. stationary bike) so I can speed my progress a little.

As far as training partners go, I'd imagine a good one would be invaluable, but I've never met a good one, so I always train solo. Particularly with this current workout. It would be hard as hell to convince someone to follow it with me. "When do we get to do curls, dude?" NEVER!

You see, Bob, this is why I don't mind paying taxes. Because the gov't cares so much about our physicaly fitness, they have put concrete all over the place so that you can walk/run/skip/jog/hop/whatever outside and it'll be much easier and cleaner than doing it in a field of grass. No need for a stationary bike.

As far as the sled goes, don't you own a car? Don't you live in a neighborhood? Push that fucker all over town. When it gets too easy, put some of your fat friends inside of it and continue pushing it. It's kind of fun, and quite difficult, to get it going at a good clip and then run around to the front of it and start pushing it the other way.

Id rather not push my car around the neighborhood, but I know of a few parks with big open parking lots that would be good for it. Good thinkin dude, Ill have to give that a try. Oh, I dont run, skip or anything similar. After having surgery done on my knee, any bouncing motion like that aggrevates it. But the car pushing would be pretty cool. Ill start with my Mini and work up to a Caddy.

Here's something to think about, this possition I'm arguing is supported by the top strength coaches in the world. Now, we're not saying that its best to starve yourself and not sleep. Of course its not. That was never the intention. It can be done however, and it has little to do with genetic ability. Training can make up for other poor variables.

I've taken classes from one of the best nutritionists in this area. He was very familiar with my powerlifting background, and he would never argue that nutrition could make up for poor training. The fact is, no matter how much blood work you do to monitor your nitrogen balance or how meticulously you count calories, it does nothing without training. Conversely, training can make up for poor diet. Its just a one way street.

If you had the oppurtunity to be trained by the best strenth coach, or the best nutritionist, (only one or the other)...who would you choose?

I'm pretty much repeating myself at this point. I know I haven't convinced some of you...which is fine too. I hope in the process you haven't gotten too upset, as you shouldn't be. I'm certainly not.

And if you didn't find my posts abrassive, than thats good also.[/QUOTE]

lol You're a funny guy Freddy, I guess we'll agree to disagree. I do however understand how important training is I just don't beleive you can run a car without gas. :)

Bob you need to pick up the March 2004 issue of Road and Track, there's something in the mag just past pg 32 for you.
