Nutraburn

since this thread doesn't get updates a lot I'll chip in and say I recently ordered, got my order quickly. not sure if I'm more sensitive to DNP or what but I used to take 125mg twice daily for 2 week stretches (done that twice now) but this time I ordered 250mg and took it once daily for one week and I felt it WAY more. this was also coming down from peak force feeding/bloat/peak bulk cycle but in that week the water weight + not eating + DNP I went from just under 260 to now a week after cessation weighing about 230lb. enormous change in just 2 weeks, really powerful stuff. Definitely works, and please remember to take it slow. smaller dosages and a big calorie deficit will work much better than higher dosages and eating more.

“The toxicity of DNP was known from the beginning of the 20th century. The cataract epidemic came on suddenly in the spring of 1935, probably because of a product with a larger dose. The cataracts caused by DNP appear within a few hours or days of taking the drug, and disappear spontaneously when the drug is stopped, more quickly with vitamin C supplement. The FDA used the cataract outbreak to get new powers. The production of permanent cataracts by estrogens and glucocorticoids hasn’t led to any action at all by the FDA.” - Ray Peat

Sorry to necro the thread but, n=1, the bolded was not at all true for me -- sudden cataract development after a few months of DNP usage (diagnosed by an eye doc -- lenses yellow/fogged, massive stripy/sparkly haloes around any light source, extreme daylight glare, fucked night vision, severe general reduction in visual acuity that can't be fixed by glasses).

After about 2 years off: no improvement, but little to no ongoing degradation. Right now I'm just at the margin of functional eyes, I'm probably gonna bite the bullet and have elective lens replacement if I can find a doc to do it.

I’m in my early 30s. I had my cataracts removed. I was literally blind. I couldn’t see anything except white. Happened within a few weeks to a month ish. A doctor should definitely help you if you are ready. Typically they wait until you can’t see very well but if it’s out of pocket then you should be good to go. Drs love their money.

I HIGHLY highly highly suggest getting a premium lens. It’s costly but worth it because it’ll affect the rest of your life. A premium lens allows you to see near, far, and intermediate. You will not need glasses or readers. I didn’t have the funds at the time so I had to go basic. This means I can see really well far away, but I can’t read or see anything up close. So now I have to have my readers on me at all times.

Good thing about cataracts, they won’t come back. I am a surgical coordinator with an eye doctor. It’s my job to pick the lens. Go for expensive!

Outside of the difference between complex and simple carbs, I've never seen overwhelming research that your body cares where the carbs come from, just what kind of carbs they are. I could be wrong but I haven't seen anything that without a doubt proves said theory. That being said like my other response dnp is like using gear in reverse. That's like me saying hey you aren't at your 100% genetic potential (let's be real most people, the overwhelming majority of gear users didn't hit or still aren't at genetic potential naturally before they started gear) so why do you just train harder. People have various life restrictions, and speed is always a consideration. Between me and my girl we have 6 kids. Feeding they're little hungry asses is already hard enough let alone meal prepping and having a seperate grocery list. I have a busy schedule and don't expect my kids to eat 'healthy' like they are training. And I won't lie, I rather have some leeway to go take my kids for ice cream and have a 1000cal sundae or make and enjoy brownies and shit with them. And being able to use dnp for 3 weeks where I'm super intensive about my diet and intake gives me way more time to do that stuff in general than 4 months of dieting hard. I already balance my diet around what my kids eat. Yeah it's slot more chicken nuggets and mac and cheese then steak and green beans, but I make it work. I still only have to diet after a bulk. Sure I want to look good, but I also wanna take my kids to a movie and not have to wonder if I can share some popcorn with them without having to skip dinner too.
I think you'd be surprised how many guys reached genetic potential before any PED use. Idk how old you are but it seems like those of us middle aged guys that now use gear often reach genetic potential first. Maybe that's because gear wasn't as easily accessible online in the 90's. Shit, even a single syringe could get you a year in jail, some states it was prison for a year. I think social media also plays a role in pushing guys today toward using PED's before they can even do a proper square, nevermind reach their potential. Speaking for myself, I started lifting when I was a 6'1", 160lb 17yr old basketball player. By the time I was 20 or 21 I was 205, jacked and shredded. Stayed away from sauce until I was like 27 and 215lbs. Having that base has been a godsend. Muscle memory is a powerful thing and because of that foundation I had a decent physique even after a devastating surgery and full shoulder replacement when I was 34, and got it all back with hard work before getting back on the sauce.

I just think this needs to be preached more. A solid foundation is key to everything. It also shows work ethic, discipline and drive that PED's just won't give you.
