Tennis & Golfers Elbow is why I dont have bigger biceps , I had to stop hitting them as hard as Id like a few yrs back because the tendonitis was crazy pain .
No more straight bars w/ over 120lbs ,
No more heavy preacher benches . Only thing I do now is maintance w/ a 80-100lb H-bar and EZ-bar , and DB curls and con curls . It sucks , and Ive been thru all the P/T work .

Take it easy on them , once you break so many micro-tendons its hard to comeback without surgery .

Yeah I was down for 3 months due to my elbow. Mine is weird, I can do hammer curls fine but regular curls really inflames them every now and then. The only reason it healed up before was because I used a low dose of deca for a few weeks with lots of fish oil and found a bunch of stretching exercises for it. Also any time i ever felt the slightest pain I would immediately drop that exercise and move on to something else. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. It had me depressed for a while

My breakfast has consisted of 10 eggs, 3/4 cup of plain oat meal with 1/4 cup of flavored oatmeal mixed in ( apple cinnamon usually), I also put a whopping scoop of almond butter in my oat meal to melt. I wash it all down now with a large glass of Dark chocolate almond milk. I was drinking orange juice but I'm sick of it

The only thing that sucks is I either have to compete in the 205 or the 230. I seriously doubt I will be 230 and I know I won't be no fucking 205. Anyway I will be competing with guys 10-15 lbs heavier then me probably. ( not sure where ill be in weight then) No big deal but I'm fixing to kiss my abs good bye. Gotta get my fighting weight on.
 
205 or 230 it doesn't matter. Your still gunna smash em. I would love to see you go up against guys heavier than you an win. The look on their faces when you push it for that first place spot will be PRICELESS lol.

lol I doubt it man. I will be competing against the big dogs and high schoolers. Its a huge event that will probably bring people from all over the country. I have honestly never met anyone my weight that could bench 500 but I know there out there. I know a bunch that lift a lot more but they weigh a lot more to. It will be a good experience though

I think Im gonna go ahead and build my trophy shelf in my gym. lol jk But it would be bad ass to have some in there. Yep I'm excited.
 
If you can slim to 205 you'd have an advantage. The mark to be competitive has always been 2x if you can at least hit 2x your body weight on all lifts you be "competitive". Doesn't mean much tho. Your bench is fantastic but only a 405 squat and maybe a 455 dead will leave you helpless cuz likely serious competitors will be squatting and pulling much more.

How close are you to 1500lbs between the big 3 lifts?

bench 475 + squats 450 ( I think) + deads 450 ( I think)

I havnt maxed out on deads and squats in a long while but I believe that's where I'm at right now. Gotta get those numbers up.

By the way i have done my last cut probably. I defiantly won't drop to 205

I guess it all depends who shows up tho and what class will be the most competitive.

Alot of teenagers who are endomorphic can squat and dead lift alot more than that. I think your pretty safe on the bench tho.

Yeah I know. I squated more in high school then I do now. I'm only thinking of competing in bench this run and watching the other events to see where I think I stand.
