lol. I'm sure I won't throw the pic away thats for sure. I went through a lot of misery to look like this. Every time I step out side or get in front of the stove/oven my shirt gets soaked. Plus If i plan on getting into PLing then I won't look like this to much longer. I'm telling y'all If fixing to get strong and that requires more size.

Im with you on the whole bigger vs shredded thing. I would much rather look bigger than be shredded. Now my ol lady is just the opposite lol but then again I'm not doing this for her or anybody else. Call me selfish but its all about my personal preference about ME. How I wanna look an how I wanna be. BIGGER is what I'm after.

For a guy your height, size and strength will be an asset for you compared to being shredded
 
@Skull Here is a video of an Old school squat rack from the people I got mine from. He also has the same Tx bar I just ordered and has the same rubber mats I got from tractor supply. This will give you an idea. the video doesn't do the rack justice. Its a 3x3 , which means its got 3'' x 3'' tubing for the frame. Anyway the model he's got is probably around 700 and elite has so much crap you could add to it later.
 
Ok y'all have heard me mention numerous times that this cycle doesn't look good on me. Even though Im up 16 lbs ( well that was an afternoon weigh in ) in 37 days ( 5.25 weeks), I look smaller because all my fullness and water weight is gone. The gym scale said I was 8% bf today. I don't trust that thing, what do yall think?

Fina is a hell of a drug. When you sweat all day everyday this is what you get.

That's awesome man. This brings lots of hope for me when i finish out my cycle with some good stuff

Now im glad I didn't go ahead an order the one I showed you the other day. Also thanks for telling me about it before I ordered. I would have been very unsatisfied while being stuck with the damn thing lol.

Actually what you showed me looked pretty damn good and who knows it might be bro. I would find one in your area that you can actually look at and touch before I bought one though.

Right on brother! You've done a good job. I have two words that come to mind when I seen this...... HARD WORK!!! Sure the Fina helped but all the fina in the world ain't Shit without hard work. Good job my friend. Motivation like a mo do.

Thanks fellas. I still have 19 days to go before I come off. Cant wait to see where Im at in a few weeks. Oh and believe me I know I have put in the work. My body is completely exhausted most of the time. My diet is only on point about 3/4 of the time. Wish I had the discipline to see where this run would of took me. All in all I am very pleased. Broke a PR and I'm turning heads. This week I will break my PR on dead lifts I'm sure of it. I will probably never break my PR on Squats, I had some wheels on me in High School and squatted 545 back then. I would be lucky to get 450 now.
 
First of all VERY IMPRESSIVE !!!! You definantly hit the lottery when it comes to genetics.
And yes you are def 8 % in that pic!
Also seems to me like you just started this run, and now you only have 19 days left? Damn how time flies.

Unbelievable transformation and gains so far Odie! I've been following your log but I've just been sitting back watching and waiting for the final weeks... I knew it was gonna be an epic run bro! I think you're right at 8% bf. The fina will create a body of the gods!

8% easy. A lot of hard work & sacrifices there, you look great.

Wow. Odie- that is truly spectacular. Thank you for solidifying my move to powerlifting my friend- bodybuilding is evidently not in the cards for me. Do you realize how much more gear pros run to look like you? diuretics? Carb timing? And you work full time and pull this off as a hobby?

Get your pro card. Look into it and put some money in your pocket with the gift you have been given- not just your genes, but your dedication to diet and hard work. You fucking hop off gear for legit pct and look like this man! A blast and cruise for 3 or four years with a top level coach and you would be one of the few people who could ask the question "olympia?". I'm fucking serious when I say excellent job
 
Yeah you'll definitely want to jump on the knee wrapping train asap if you start to squat and want to increase it for the meet!
Power Belly gear has my favorite knee wraps.
And Nike Romaleos are the only way to go if you're serious about squatting!
If you just practice your squat and deadlift like you do your bench you'll see a huge improvement!
My cousin has competed in powerlifting for the last 4ish years...I think he's one of the top 10 for his 220 weight class and top 15 now for the 242 weight class. He pulls 813 dead lift 740 squat and 460 bench. So you will kill it in bench but you definitely gotta work on the other two! :D
 
No I never have. I was just looking at some on elite site though. I definitely need them, my knees feel like they have sand in my joints.

Get some voodoo floss and search youtube for Kelly starrett wod. Helps my knees stay healthy

Edit* just saw your comment about elbow tendinitis. The voodoo floss helps with those too

The only thing that sucks is I either have to compete in the 205 or the 230. I seriously doubt I will be 230 and I know I won't be no fucking 205. Anyway I will be competing with guys 10-15 lbs heavier then me probably. ( not sure where ill be in weight then) No big deal but I'm fixing to kiss my abs good bye. Gotta get my fighting weight on.

I think you're going to have an incredible time at a PLing meet, I know I did and everyone from my other forum who has come to the meets has as well. It's a very fun, friendly atmosphere.

I lift in the RPS federation and love it. The weight classes go 198, 220, and 242. Different Feds have different rules about equipment and whatnot so before you go you need to brush up on them to know what's in store. For example USAPL I believe requires you squat from squat stands while in rps you squat from a monolift. There are tested and untested divisions and I suggest you go the untested division route simply to keep things fair for everyone. For bench you need to work in the commands. For example you need to pause the bar on your chest but you cannot start pressing the weight until you get the press command. At lockout you cannot rack the bar until they give you the lockout command etc.
