Ima tag along in this one, your training layout plan is apealling to me good job :p. Hopefully after a couple weeks of the 2x a week squats you can bump it to 3x a week with minimal DOMs. do you have a set/rep for Day 1 and day 5? Volume one day and intensity the other or going to go with a linear style and just add weight each workout?

I will add squats in day 3 once the car is at full speed. I squatted 4 days ago and my legs are still sore:( I'm really looking forward to not dealing with DOMS and maybe walking normally for once lol
I will start with a linear style. May be easier to track progress that way.

I don't perform deads anymore but I definitely seem them as a staple for most people and most goals. ( waiting for the nasty looks ) - I would rather prefer some weighted hyper extensions, good mornings, ect. But that's just me. It is fun every now and then pulling some heavy shit. As pus suggested, that would be a very nice back day for you. And also, like the bear said.... Form. Fuck an ego, nice controlled and quality reps will make for amazing progress.

I modified the plan and switched shoulders to day 1-5. Thank you for the suggestion! Ultimately, if energy and DOMS allows, I wanna squat 3x a week. For now I'll stick to the 2x and see how that goes.
Form to me is imperative. Mostly because I am terrified of making my back injuries worse. I do love the feeling of pulling really heavy things, especially bc I'm so tiny I feel rather mighty lol.
However, I always try to keep my ego in check. Injuries are just not worth it.

@Thenewera - Just out of curiosity, do you opt out of doing deads for aesthetic reasons? There's a lot of debate about whether or not heavy deads thicken the waist/core and I hate doing them for that reason, but can't stop because I love deadlifts, lol.

@Thenewera - Just out of curiosity, do you opt out of doing deads for aesthetic reasons? There's a lot of debate about whether or not heavy deads thicken the waist/core and I hate doing them for that reason, but can't stop because I love deadlifts, lol.

My exact reasoning. The only true benefit I see to deads for NATURALS is obviously it's a king of compounds releasing natural HGH and allowing the body to grow more.. And it's a compound. Well I've been to the point where I was pulling 400+ for reps. But it does thicken your core. I can activate the lower back just as much if not better and more concentrated in the other movements I've listed.

You're so right about that. I got a little nervous after reading some of the latest female Anavar threads. Just having the peace of mind knowing that what I'm taking is actually oxandrolone and not something else makes it all worth it. I don't need the added stress of the "what if's".

I like looking like a female, in and out of clothes, if you know what I mean. I'd like to keep my lady parts the way they are, lol!:eek:

Can't wait to see your cycle progress and results for you with your diet and training. I have decided on the var, but it will be awhile for me. Still learning and preparing for it someday, but must make sure I am ready for it. Also, I am wanting to go vegetarian, too, so I am extremely interested in how that works out with your cycle. :)

  • Felt for the first time an increase in strength. I was a little conservative in my squats bc my legs were a little sore from 4 days ago:eek:
  • I felt great while lifting, my endurance was awesome.
  • Towards the end of my workout, my vision was acting up a bit. Kinda like when you shroom, or take acid lol. There were little trails and my vision was a bit distorted. It freaked me out a bit but I think it was the lack of food. I didnt really eat much prior to that. I felt a lot better after I got home and ate. There was a bit of a pressure headache going on in my right eye. I thought perhaps it was my blood pressure but I took it and it read 119/75. pulse was 96
  • Hair and face a little oily. Asepxia soap is working wonders to control that.
  • I'm starting to notice a slight lack of appetite.
  • Drank ~1 gallon of H2O
  • Forearm pump was crazy during bicep curls. It kinda hurt. Time to start taking Taurine, I think. What dose do you guys recommend?
  • I'm sleeping so much. Today I woke up at noon!! gotta start forcing myself to go to bed early and wake up early.
Since I'm starting to feel an increase in strength, now I'm wondering if I should continue to cruise it at 5 mgs/day or increase to 10mgs.
I wanted to take a conservative approach to AAs as I know more is not always better. I've read in some posts it's safe for a female to even do 20 mgs, but I don't wanna jump at a high dose if I can still make significant gains with the min dose.
This brings me to a question, can one become less sensitive to a compound? for instance, if I wanted to run Var again for a second or third cycle, will I need a higher dose than in my first?

Anyway, I didn't update anything during days 1-4 bc I didn't really feel much.
It felt great when I realized the weight felt slighly easier and lighter. I uttered a silent EEEEKKKKKK to myself:D The weights I used today were my max before, except in my squats.

Well, I think this is all I have to say for today.
Tomorrow I'll be resting and doing yoga.

Your pushing a bit too much volume on your legs you should ton it back to a total of 4x12 tops for each squat and leg press if not 4x8. You aren't trying to hammer your legs dead in one day as it's the weekly volume not the daily volume that we are looking for. If you have too much volume in one day then you won't have addiquate time to recover for the next session AAS or not. As per your question to building tolerance, no you don't build a tolerance to anything you may become larger and stronger and want a higher dose but 5mg will register as 5mg in your body all things equal no matter how many cycles. I would bump up to 10mg daily as 5 is still quite conservative and just cruise the rest out at 10mg for he cycle.

You're absolutely right though. I can't go ham one day bc I only have one day of rest in btw. I will keep that in mind.
How do you approach training legs if they still feel sore? Should I wait until they don't hurt anymore or train anyway?
I know that's the reason why I should do too much volume at once, but I'm asking bc normally my legs take forever to heal. I'm increasing my dose of glutamine.

To be honest I haven't had any DOMs in over a year, body adapts to it and if your programming is good you should be able to keep going. Always push through it though if your sore you need to muster it up to make your lifts. I think once you grasp the weekly volume is giving you better results then daily you will love it because you no longer feel like crap days after a workout and you are getting stronger at the same time.

Hardest part about lifting is toning it down when it's your passion to push harder. If I had it my way if be pushing heavy singles every day of the week:p

I could be wrong, but I don't see deads being as much of a waist thickener for females when most will still do things like crunches and side bends that specifically target the core and usually will make it grow.

Few questions for you-

1. Why the different variations in the seated row? I would opt to do something like this-
One week close grip, next week wide grip (frankly, I think you should only ever do wide grip on the seated row) and the week after that do your single arm rows.

2. Why hit a bicep exercise then hit lat pulldown, then biceps again? I'd hit your back then your biceps. You don't want to cut yourself short with the lat pulldowns by using pre-exhausted biceps.

Either way, this isn't a negative post, I think it's always good to think about your training to maximize the hypertrophy and be as efficient as possible!
