Official bug thread for new MESO forum

I've been trying to log in (https://thinksteroids.com/community all evening and getting this message:

500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

I finally did a Google search for Uncle Z and got in to the site off that link. (Z was finally good for something!)
Google still hasn't indexed all the new forum links.

Another reason I put off switching forums is that the several 100,000s links indexed by Google would be lost. This is because when you switch software, in most cases, it means a change in URL structure. That's why there are some tricks called URL rewrite rules that redirect all the old links to the new links.

URL rewrite rules are a pain in the ass. Not only do we have to redirect all the vb links to the corresponding xf links, we have to redirect all old links from previous domains -- like mesomorphosis.com -- and . This is so that we preserve our "Google juice" by keeping all the referral links that we've accumulated from the past 15+ years and sending them to the new URL structure. Furthermore, since we are trying to force HTTPS from HTTP, it is even more complicated. We still have some work to do. But we're close to having it down :)

You probably didn't want to know all that about rewrite rules.

The important message is that the NEW internet address for the MESO Forum is:

https://thinksteroids.com/community/

The home page will always work:

https://thinksteroids.com

And if all else fails, search Google for:

MESO forum

or

any steroid - dianabol, anadrol, masteron, anavar, deca durabolin - and we'll be in the couple of search results

It was the Google link that got me in. Typing https://thinksteroids.com/community/in the address bar didn't work and still doesn't.

That ^^^ link works. The link I posted above has been working since the change but not anymore.
Google has only indexed approximately 5% of the new forum links so far.

The rewrite rules had been working to redirect old forum links to new until a few hours ago. We were trying to fix rewrites from HTTP / WWW versions to HTTPS / non-WWW when we broke the vb redirects. We're working to fix this asap.

Posting pic links doesn't seem to be working. It just puts up after I paste the link of the picture....

It used to say [IMG]www.blablabla.jpeg.com[IMG] or something similar.

Testing:

What is the URL of the image you are trying to post? The image URL should auto-embed. Or are you using an image-sharing service?

On my firefox phone browser when I hit the return key to make another paragraph everything gets all fucked up- the cursor stays where it is and starts pumping out random shit no matter what I press. on android btw... so no likes being imported millard? I have to keep being witty and intelligent?

The vbseo likes will not be imported at this time. Sorry.

Give me some time and I will install firefox on my phone and investigate and try to replicate.

And is there any headway on creating social groups?
I haven't announced it yet because I'm still figuring it out.

Social groups are here:

Please play around with them and let me know if you encounter any problems.

Don't post any sensitive information in the groups until I can guarantee that the privacy settings allow them to be "private" and "invite-only".

Changed my avi once today, didn't like it so I tried changing again. It just reverts back to the other avi even though it appears to upload a new image. Am I doing something wrong or is there a timeframe you can't change your avi pics?

Any news on all the missing images?
We have a file back up of all the attachments. They will be re-imported after the duplicates are sorted. I haven't been given a time frame. But they are not lost.
