Oxandrolone dosage

I wonder if anyone experienced better sleep on Var? I tend to sleep slightly better when taking 10-15mg before bed. Nothing major but i do notice smoother sleep compared to usual sleep

I'm trying out 10mg/day now to see what it does to my lipids over the next few weeks. Already took it for today but I'll swap to night doses tomorrow and see if I notice anything - god knows I could use help with my sleep.

Why 10, only to see lipid changes? Think it would add any benefits in terms of fat and muscle?

For non competitors, just for some hardening dht-like effect and strenght , 20mg of real compounded works great with few sides .

Collagen/connective tissue stuff.

I've got some pretty shitty joints from being a fatass for years that dropping weight didn't help, a knee that never healed right from having a torn meniscus that my ortho convinced me to not get surgery on at the time, some annoying persistent overuse pains that keep coming back on some tendons despite having specifically dialed back my training on movements that they use and focusing on PT recommended rehab exercises.

I know there's more limited science on the use there (though there are some ongoing trials that might shed some more light on things), but I'm willing to try a lot to see what helps there. Deca has been a fairly big relief for some of the symptoms, at least, more than anything else I've tried, but I've still got a long way to go to where I'd like to be. Not sure if I can get there, but I'd like to try.

I do think it helps for this. I was running 12.5mg for an extended period of time. Only downside was the HDL decrease.

Nice!

I've got myself on ezetimibe and some low dose rosuvastatin plus the usual suspects on supplements, so hopefully that helps offset some of the damage there.

Repatha for cholesterol. But maybe nothing is best, as changes are temporary but more importantly maybe oxandrolone lowering of the lipoprotein a offsets the changes in hdl and ldl?

I've posed that question more than once and I wouldn't count on it. Oxandrolone strongly skews lipid particle counts so mechanistically it would be hard to argue even a significant reduction in lp(a) would be enough to combat that. Even then the inflammatory status of the vessel wall plays a huge role in deposits due to small dense LDL-p.

I have what many would consider pretty belligerently resilient HDL levels, even with a TT over 2200 my HDL still bounces around in the mid 60s (at 1800 it would stay 69-72).

25mg of anavar daily absolutely torched my HDL. Comically so. Within two weeks of anavar I was at the mid teens despite most other metrics remaining great, my ALT/AST remaining at 12 and 18, and my GGT at 11. Another 4 weeks later everything remained the exact same.

Felt absolutely fantastic on it, looked great, couldn't have enjoyed it more. But it's going to be something I only turn to in very specific instances going forward as that bloodwork was just not something I liked to look at.

Trying to blast but be safe as possible, maybe switch to (while on trt at 100 mg a week) a 10 week deca blast at 400mg weekly?

It will easily overpower the Anavar when it coms to LDL, so your LDL will be nice and low regardless as long as you’re using those. It will make no difference for HDL though. HDL will get low because those lipid lowering drugs do not increase HDL.

The good news is when it comes to atherosclerosis build up, high LDL is like a gunshot wound, while low HDL is like a paper cut. Low HDL isn’t even close to being comparable when it comes to harm vs high LDL.

You still probably don’t want low HDL, but you can probably be ok for much longer.
