Yep I still see patients daily and talk with them while sitting down at the bedside in a humanistic rather than "professional" holy than thou manner. Indeed many of my patients are my friends. We golf together, watch sports and God forbid may even have a beer together. I've not discovered a financial windfall in the practice of medicine as many have done with business ventures and book deals and I'm perfectly happy with that.
