PN started about 3 months ago, was taking every anti oxidant recommended by people who say it’s caused by free radicals (seems to not be the case)

Currently I have been taking these supplements for 2 months:

3g of ALCAR, ED
240 mg of R-Lipoic Acid, ED
10,000 mcg B12 shots, weekly

Progress seems to have stalled, my feet constantly have a tingling and needles sensation

So, can you clear up the issue. Is it dnp or anti oxidants that you think caused the issues? It would be nice to know if it's the anti oxidants so I can stop taking it just in case.

I believe it was the DNP, it’s a known side effect of it. Nevertheless, if you go low dose, cycle it for short periods of time and allow your body to recover you should be fine.

This only started happening to me after upping the dose from 375 mg to 550 mg

Thanks, I misunderstood your post, I thought I need to stop taking vit c and NAC lol

I was taking 550 mg (would not recommend) for 3 weeks, had little to no side effects except for this
wow 550MG is an above average dosage when it comes to DNP. Neuropathy can be treated by maybe using such stuff as Dihexa, Lion's Mane Mushroom those promote nerve cell growth may indirectly help with treating neuropathy although Dihexa compound needs more clinical research. but it's proven to promote nerve cell growth.

I agree, these dosages were comfortable enough for me and I just kept chasing the sides

I also heard about ARA-290 for PN, but i’ll lookup some info on Dihexa
