I joined their on a month to month while on the road in Texas. I was pretty happy when that road trip was over. The people there seemed to be all about that "average Joe's" feel but it wasn't my thing.
LMAO, pizza night would be best for the bulkers 
But seriously, that place is truly a joke and not even a gym! I had gone to one near me when I was unemployed and flat broke as I could not afford my current gym's membership fees then. The one I went to used to be a Worlds Gym and it still had one squat rack and 3 benches plus db's went to 80 so it was the best one around my area.

PF isn't a terrible place if you're in school or something, soley because it's super cheap. The one near me isn't strict at all. I agree though, not a good environment to work out in, (if I can afford a real gym) especially with the lack of basic Olympic lifting equipment.

I have a membership to PF that I use when I'm on the road or in a pinch. It's okay. Smith machines and dumbbells only. The vibe is weird at some locations for sure. Their whole "nonjudgmental" thing is all just bullshit marketing really. There are dickheads in every gym, nothing can really be done about that, and it just ends up taking a much more passive aggressive form at PF. The guys who have ego issues can't scream or throw weight around, so those type of idiots typically end up doing a lot of pacing and staring, picking up the biggest dumbbells in the house while only managing to fuck around and do next to nothing with them, etc.

The one I go to sometimes, the "Lunk" alarm goes off usually for some gym newb with no form what so ever is straining to complete a rep. One dude does this odd crunches where it looks like he is trying to suck his own dick. Some hot chicks there though.

Hahaha, I ain't going to lie. I started lifting a little over 3 years ago at planet fitness... Lost 100lbs there. I would say it's a good starter gym if you're way out of shape and self conscious! Lots of fatties their... Good place to find girls who are self conscious too, hahaha! Pussy comes easy at Planet Fitness. I couldn't imagine Tren and Planet fitness, I would have nailed all the fatties! The lunk alarm was my friend! I'd get a good set in and yell for them to hit the alarm!!

A gym is a gym. You can get huge and ripped in any gym if you are a real man.
I love the horrible looking trolls who rip on a gym because it is not FILL IN THE BLANK.
I grew up is crap gyms in the 70's and early 80's and we had natty people who on average blow away drug abusers like MindlessDunce all day long. And I can say I never heard any of them cry and safe space about how pathetic the gym was.
