Pre Cycle Bloods Low T

Got my bloodwork back today. I've been thinking about and researching TRT for several months without even knowing my levels but I have had a nagging suspicion that I am low. I came back at 265 T which is even lower than I thought i was going to be.

I was going to run my first cycle after finishing my diet but I've been struggling with it. I'm 35, have ran keto diets successfully in the past and have been lifting consistently for 4 years.

Now I am planning on starting off with 200mg per week for the next 8 weeks to finish up the diet then bulk up for 15 weeks at 500mg per week, then drop back down to a TRT dose. Will post bloods again in 6 weeks.

If anything stands out about my bloodwork I would appreciate any insight or opinions anyone might have. Thanks.

The fact you have been lifting
for several years should be somewhat enlightening, meaning theres more to the diagnosis of “low T”and TRT than a NUMBER.

To that end it may be more productive for you to establish a relationship with a doc who is familiar with TRT, as doing so will help him/her establish a baseline, exclusive of labs, absent the influence of PEDs

Good luck

Jim

So, if a HCP discovers a patient has "low T" but patient is asymptomatic, is it common practice now to diagnose and treat the defiency? Or, wait for patient to "feel" like they are deficient?

No 3 hrs won't make or break the test. Those test numbers are a little high for trt long term imo. Are you still on 200mg a week atm?

I started 500 test 400 deca on friday, will drop back down to 200 in 15 weeks. Would it be wise to try to dial it in closer to the 900 range?

I mean it's up to you and how u feel. I'm experimenting myself with my trt protocol. If I pin 100mg of cyp and pull bloods 6 days later my test was like around 650 if I remember. I felt good on the 6th day so I want that to be the lowest my test gets. I'm trying to use the least amount of gear and get the most out of it. This way when u blast your receptors will be more sensitive I would think. Just my opinion find what works for you. Bloods are important!
