Primo Cycle

Rest Week continues. Let's see if I make it until Friday. The pain in my forearms and hands is subsiding a little. Had a massage Saturday that helped. Let's see what resting will get me.

Pinned 50 mg last night. No sore throat after like I had been getting. No notable sides. Pin again Friday.

Your body is thanking you right now, probably adding you to the gains list

I was on the fence about just a deload and not total rest but then I started thinking about all those little aches and pains that could probably need some rest/healing too. Thanks for the advice. :)

Listen to your body. Nothing worse then getting injured while on a cycle. I made that mistake once. Put me out for 3 months. You'll come back stronger with some rest anyway.

Man, that would suck to be on a cycle and hurt yourself. Glad all of you with experience are here for advice/support. :)

I have a feeling I may flunk rest week. Today is day 5 and tomorrow is Saturday. Why waste a weekend day and NOT lift? Ugh. Pin 50 mg today. Going to switch cheeks since I've been pinning the same one and it's a little sore.

This extra time has given me time to revamp my program. So I'm going to give the following a shot for the next 6 weeks. These will be long so I'll be supersetting where I can. Critiques welcome.

You should switch it up and try pinning delts. Delts and glutes are all I pin. Simple and painless if done right.

@Chelsea2020 would love to hear your thoughts and insight on this log.

Thank you for this. I'm so lost here. Lol. I'm going to do some reading today.

Nice to meet you Wendy. You look great if that's you in the picture.

Hi Chelsea! Nice to meet you! Yes that's me. Thanks! I read you're intro and judging by your avi you are strong! Look forward to your posts. Feel free to ask anyone anything. Most of us are on our first-ish cycle - I started with anavar and then transitioned to primo - thus the first-ish and really loooong cycle :)

Thanks girl. Looking to get stronger. That's quite the cycle. I've done 2 var cycles. On my second var cycle I did a low dose of test with it. Not sure if I will do that again. I could hardly control how horny I would get. lol. I'm interested to see what the primo does for you. I'm scared of losing my hair from it.

I haven't had any shedding. Hyper aware of it because of the reputation. Using 1% Nizoral shampoo every 3rd day just on accounta. I'm at the end of week 4 of my cycle so hopefully I'll see gains soon. So far I've found it to be more agreeable than var in the sense that I don't get the distended belly bloat that I did with the var. We'll see :)

Back day new program. It's a lot more volume than I was doing but got it done in 1.5 hrs. Deadlifts take up most of the time.....warming up. Pyramiding up. The way I have my program is the 1st three days are for strength and the 2nd set of 3 days is for hypertrophy. That said, I PR'd my DL. 225 for 1. I think I could have gone 10 lbs higher but I'll try that next week. Wound up taking a solid 5 days off from the gym. Felt rested. Forearms and hands feel better. Not 100% but better. Noticed db curls hurt them of all things.

Pinned yesterday and Tuesday will mark the beginning of week 5 of primo. Maybe noticing subtle changes right now? My body looks more purposeful if that makes sense. Like it's built to lift weights. Maybe. I took progress pics and I don't look different in them. Maybe it's the 5 days off. Maybe I think about these things too much. It's a mystery.

Anyway I AM more vascular. I think I can say that.

Holy cow, Wendy!
That's crazy vascularity.

Congrats on 225 DL! Do you ever sumo DL? You can put up more weight that way. I like to alternate btw conventional and sumo dls.

I can't believe you're already on your 5th week. Wow.
How are the strength gains compared to var so far?

Keep killing it, babe! One way ticket to gainzcity

I sumo'd for a while on posterior chain day but rotated off that move a while back. My new gym has a glute ham raise that I am now enamored with.

My strength gains have been steady. I'm just now getting to where I trust the steroid to do its job. I think I was a little too conservative with that at first. Now I'll venture slowly into higher weights. Adding 5-10 lbs to pyramid up. I've been focussing on hypertrophy for so long it feels soooo good to work on strength. Last week I pr'd bench at 150. Failed at 160. I will try it again tomorrow.

I just realized I didn't answer the question re var vs primo. At this point I can't tell a difference but I like the way I feel more on the primo. Plus I'm just getting to where I think I'll see the effects of it. So hopefully I can say more in the next few weeks.

That moment when you feel the steroid working is so awesome! I have a feeling things are gonna get very exciting for you this week.

150 bench is so badass.
You're a beast, a sexy vascular beast ;)
