You would have to check all of them for the proper spelling to see at what point the change in spelling was made.

No, the address isn't case sensitive. If it was a constant email chain, i'm not sure how someone could change the email address and continue the chain.

i'm almost positive that's a lowercase L and not a capital I where it should be a lowercase I though.

It is what it is. It was only a hundred bucks but the principle of the whole thing was bugging me. He's always done me right and there's proof up there his s*** in fire. Can't wait to try NPP at 200 mg. Upping the test to 1200 4 10 weeks after we get all this s*** figured out

ThePristLne is a valid email address. It shows the lock icon when typed out.

The problem is a lower case L and a capital I look identical in Proton.

i would definitely create a new Proton account and lock it down with a strong, nonsensical password containing random letters, symbols, words, numbers, etc.

Sounds to me like the hacker logged into your Proton, and replied to that email chain addressed to the fake email, and responded back to that email from the look alike account. After that, he deleted those last few messages so that it appeared you were still continuing that same email chain.

Enable 2 factor authentication as well. You get a code by either text or email to login.
