Guys I'm not on "sabbatical". I'm operating as normal. Pretty spooked by all the shady shit going on at Meso lately and am a bit weary of posting for sure. Operationally, everything is fine however.


@Popeyethearmyguy as I told you through email, the unique payment address I sent you has had no transactions tied to it. If you sent payment, you sent it to the wrong addy or something. I certainly did not receive it.

So I don't know if you seen everything that's happened. It looks like I may have been hacked.
I don't know what you want to do on that. But I posted the Bloods I got yesterday proving again your s*** is fire. The guys here kind of ran me through a few scenarios so that may have been the case. Like I said a couple times you've never f***** me and I don't think you would start over $100

Sounds to me like the hacker logged into your Proton, and replied to that email chain addressed to the fake email, and responded back to that email from the look alike account. After that, he deleted those last few messages so that it appeared you were still continuing that same email chain.

^^^^^ this. And he cut and pasted the email chain at some point along the way when he switched over to the bogus Pistlne email address that he has registered.

Everyone should change their email passwords and use 2FA like @mindless said.

The free Proton doesn’t have 2fa but it does offer two password protection by logging in on the website and going into the settings. Having one password to log on and another one to decrypt your mail will prevent a hacker from getting into your account unless he has found out what both of your passwords are.

This is the same shit that happened to me. Somewhere along the way, you clicked on something you shouldn’t have, which granted the hacker access to your emails. He then copied an email where you were communicating and replied to it to make it look like it was the same conversation. The BTC wallet he gave was his, not Pristine’s. This same thing happened to me and then the fucker took over my email accounts and started emailing a source I was working with, trying to change the delivery address on my order.

I knew about two password in proton but was lazy and don’t use it. If you remember MD was running around meso posting in my accounts because of that laziness. Things are setup a lot differently now.

Note: You need to install an authentication app such as Authy or Google Authenticator to use it. These are available for both Android and iPhone.

If you want to be safer use a burner phone for the 2FA device.

I'd love to see using a USB device for 2FA, where the USB device has the authentication key encoded into it. I have one of these USB smartcard devices I use for remotely logging into servers at work.

That should also work, and you should use a password manager to help keep all the passwords straight. Some password managers offer a password generation tool as well that can come in handy.

LastPass and KeePass are 2 good ones. NEVER store passwords in your browser.

Changing your pw every 30 days is good.
