Progress/training log part 2:getting beary serious

Also got some sweet news that my little woman is going to come and spend spring break with me.

Aaaand she says she wants to go to the gym with me while she's here so im pretty stoked about that, and hopefully i will still have a girlfriend after i put her through the paces lmao

Ah the ol fingers crossed hope she likes the gym cause every side chick I have has to like my main (Barbra my barbell is my main obviously)

Me and my wife can't work out together:( we have opposing opinions on the order of exercises. I jump around and vary my workouts way too much:rolleyes:. Same with cleaning the house:eek: it only works if we pretend the other isn't there or we're in different rooms.:D

I think she will enjoy it, i'll try and make it somewhat fun...idk hang some balloons up or something lol.

At the very least she supports me doing it ao even if she never wants to go again its ok haha

We both work so I feel like we should try to contribute equally. Shes probably borderline ocd and I'm spastic, spontaneous and "controlled" without meds ADD, ADHD. I'm sure its annoying when I wash the dishes sweep the floor and change the trash at the same time:oops:

Thats a good man right there, and absolutely right, gotta help out around the house.

Me and mine are probably a both a little more on the spastic side so when we live together it should make for a fun time hahah
 
Decent little workout. Last deload day.

1.squat 5x5 225lb
2.bench 5x5 185lb
3.deadlift 1x5 315lb
4.front squat 2x16 115lb
5.bor overhand 2x12 115lb
6.incline DB bench 2x12 60lb
7.side lateral raise 2x8 30lb

Skipped cardio gonna go on a big walk cuz it's nice out.

Had 2 very pretty girls tell me that im looking really great sooo...i mean that was pretty cool haha. I've been gross so long i dont even know how to take compliments anymore lol
 
You'll like it. It's a good choice for poor, wage slaves like us. I mean I pulled 606lbs wearing it.

Yeah that's pretty much what it came down to, good reviews and its more moderately priced. Im sure i will get some good use out of it, i dont need anything fancy, just something better than the sketchy tapered one at my gym.
 
Sooo here are my new macros for the week. Starting the reverse dieting for a while to bolster my metabolism and boost my strength up a bit before the next phase of the cut begins.

Monday-Thursday 2730 cal
230g protein 250g carbs 90g fats

Friday 3100 cals
250g protein 300g carbs 100g fats


Saturday/Sunday 2395 cals
230g protein 200g carbs 75g fats

Weight was 250 today, up a little bit from last week. Had that light week last week so i imagine i wasnt burning up as many calories as normal.

Also, full disclosure, i had a few more drinks than i should have friday, got some bad news about a close friend back home thats been fighting cancer the past 3 years. Seems they have finally about hit the end of the line and dont have very much longer left, called them to talk to them for maybe the last time and they are so fried from the chemo they could barely even talk n it just fucked me up pretty bad hearing them like that so i over indulged a bit.

I know it's no excuse but i guess im not very good at handling that sort of thing..anyways, I've gotten myself together for the most part so im all back on track now. Gonna be goin to the gym later in the PM so i will update my first workout of the training block then.
 
losing friends/family is really hard. ive lost a good share of my friends in the last 10 years or so. i still have the images of my dying grandma on chemo burned in my brain. very tough to watch and see the person deteriorate.

Yeah definitely not an easy situation.

i appreciate it man, will do if i need to talk.

The person in question was a close friend to alot of my other good friends ao we have some kind of a mini support group going on.
 
Well i'll be a son of a bitch, now i just heard my bosses are selling the business and the new owners are bringing in new employees.

The bullshit comes in waves.
