Progress/training log part 2:getting beary serious

Workout tonight was

1.bench 5x5 rpe 8 165

2.super cardio giant set 3 rounds
10 squat jumps
10 lunges (per leg)
Max effort battle rope till i started getting slow
Plank to failure

Fuckin hell, that squat jump to lunges is no joke, even with just bodyweight my quads were on freaking fire.

Felt really run down today from work, been coming in early and staying late all week and really going above and beyond doing shit that isn't my job, making deliveries and simple installs etc. I learned today that under the right circumstances i can, in fact, pick up an entire sliding glass door and load/unload onto a truck lol....it's got me pretty beat up but on the plus side the bossman said i have been doing so well, and to qoute him "kicking some serious ass" that he is going to bump my 120 day review up to 90 days so i could be looking at a substantial raise here pretty soon which would be fucking killer
Great work on the job man!! I just got promoted to 1st shift supervisor at my job for doing the same thing, going above and beyond. Sometimes people do pay attention and your rewarded for your work.
 
Alright so workout tonight was

1.squats 5x5 185lb
2.bench 5x5 135lb
3.sumo deadlift (just for funsies) 3x5 225lb
4. Incline bench 2x12 115lb
5.front squat 2x12 115lb

Just sort of going to my default kind of deload deal for the rest of my week so i can start real training on monday and have all my worjouts during the week to free up my weekends so i can still work those days but also catch up on my sleep.


So today was the big day, finally hit the mark. Weighed in at 219.8 this morning so ya know what that means? This fucking cut is over, and operation retard strength begins soon. I will log these workouts here this week then next week will be havig a new log to start the next chapter of my journey which will be purely strength oriented and prepping myself to do a meet early 2018.

Thanks for everybodies constant support, means more than ya know to have a team rooting for me so yeaaahhhh lets get this shit!

Oh man i know it, i am beyond ready to just start growing finally. For the first time ever I'm going to be training not while not being in a deficit, and i am really really fucking stoked to see what i can do haha

Way to go man, yeah it fuckin feels good to actually be appreciated and rewarded for doing a good job haha unlike all the shit minimum wage jobs i have worked in the past lol

3.crossfit super circuit
Powerclean x 5
Burpee x 5
Battle rope max effort 20 second
Box jump x 10

Managed 4 rounds of that before i felt the creeping death lol

This is the first workout i have actually felt good about in a long time. I'm sure it's just a placebo effect as i dont think i could be noticing any real strength increase yet but still i just went in there and just felt stronger than i have in a while. Fuckin stoked lol

Yeah, it is definitely disvouraging when you're workin your ass off and steadily devolving into a weakling lol. Just thank goodness it's over finally
If I'm not mistaking your goal was to cut weight. Now that you have reached that goal you can get to being a strength beast. Hats off to you for that dropping that weight. Great fucking work.

Exactly! You're a better man than me. I made it 8 months and 70lbs down and said fuck it I want to be stronger I'm still losing fat albeit a lot slower! Congrats, now time to fuck shit up!

Yessir that was the goal, and it was worth it. I certainly feel alot better about myself now.
