Thank ya sir! Thats why I joined here, just having like minded individuals to discuss this shit with and having this massive wealth of first hand information is invaluable in its own right!
This cutting thing is going to be the real challenge, I already know I can put on muscle and build strength, now it's time to see if I can get the body to match haha.

Took these just a little bit ago, was brushing my teeth and realized I have no idea what my back looks like so I said up the phone and took a short video and snapped some screen shots. Honestly actually fairly happy with how my back is developing, kinda stoked to see what that looks like when I lean out some more.Screenshot_2016-01-28-00-54-58.png

and this one, bicep shot, my arms are actually pretty pretty thick and solid, just haven't quite started getting that definition and peak to them yet which is frustrating but I know it's just a matter of keeping up the training and waiting.2016-01-28 01.07.47.png

Just wanted to put these up as a reference to look back on in the following months, and also to show that I'm not JUST some fat guy, I actually do have some muscle mass under the chub hahaha

Just got done blasting shoulders.
Did my standard stretching and whatnot

1. Seated shoulder presses in power rack(don't have a regular shoulder press station)

warm up set 95lbs ×20 reps

1 set 135lbs x 12 reps
1 set 155lbs x 8 reps
Maxed out since I haven't done that on shoulder press in a while hit a new PR at 195lbs for 1 rep

1 set 175lbs x 2 rep drop to 155lbs x 6 reps
1 set 135lbs x 10 reps

2. Bent over rear laterals
5 sets 25lb dumbbells x to failure

3. Standing side laterals
5 sets 35lb dumbbells x to failure

4. Barbell shrugs

1 set 225lb x 20
2sets 35lb x 15
2 sets 405lb x 10
2 sets 315lb x 15
1 set 225lb x 20

5. Reverse pec deck
4 sets 85lbs x failure

6. Upright rows on smith machine (only thing I use smith machine for and I don't do them often)
4 sets 115lb x 8-10 reps

Been putting my info into this all day and this is just some results, probably won't post this too often because it's generally going to be pretty similar from day to day. Little heavy on the carbs but I think I kind of outweigh that because most of my carbs are focused into pre and post workout meals, I do dial back the carb intake considerably over the weekend when I am unable to get to the gym.

Total calorie count, I am concerned about this a little bit because, and I know this isn't 100% accurate, I am well below the suggested amount for losing a pound a week, and this doesn't even take into account what I burned during my workout...but I don't feel like I'm that far below, I mean I'm certainly not starving or anything...so idk what to say about that.Screenshot_2016-01-28-23-49-09.png

with this I also drank right around a gallon of water, I'm not counting what I imbibed during my workout because I'm a sweat machine.

this is what all I consumed throughout the day, pretty standard day

Thats what my day looked like.

Well worth the investment! You can get them pretty cheap too. I weigh all my meats out and I was shocked at how bad I was at eyeballing everything when I first started.

yeah, that's a must until you trust your eye measurements. i picked one up for $20. Those two things alone, with cardio, cutting a damn breeze.

About the scales, ya'll have any preference between digital or analog scales?

Hit legs and some core today

Regular warm up and stretches

1. Squats
2 warmup sets 135 x 15 reps

1 set 225 x 12 reps

3 sets 315 x 4 reps drop to 225 x 6 rep

1 set 225 x 10 reps

Pretty happy with that, usually at 315 each set I get like one rep less each set so it looks like getting a bit stronger there.

2. Seated Calf raises superset with leg raises

Calf raise- 5 sets one plate per side x 40 reps

Leg raise 5 sets x failure

3. Giant set leg extensions x seated hamstring curls x standing calf raise

Leg extensions 4 sets 175 x failure
Hamstring curls 4 sets 145 x failure
Calf raise 4 sets 180 x 15-20 reps

4. Crunch machine
5 sets 60lbs resistance x 20-25 reps

Good day, felt strong, good workout imo.

Digital for me as well. Good training brother, keep it up.

Cool, guess the general consensus seems to be digital. I was looking on amazon and saw some as low as like $12 but ima probably spring for a $20-$30 model, ya get what you pay for and all that.
Thanks, i'll be back at it monday, weather permitting I'm gonna try and get out and play some ball on Sunday before work, run some full court layup drills and get some cardio in in.

Haha just came across this on my facebook, thought it was funny. Backwhen I was like 16, weighed about 160lbs haha. I think my max bench was around like 145, squat 175, and dead was like 225 lol. I could dunk a basketball though, which is something I want to work back towards so I may start incorporating some jumping drills in my training. So funny looking back, my forearms now are bigger than my biceps back then :D:cool:DEXATI20160130075732.png

Went Out And Played Some Ball today, did some layup drills, jumping drills, and agility drills and diced around and rained down some threes, only got about a half hour in due to the rain, but got more in than I usually do on sundays, plus it's about a mile round trip walk to the court and all uphill on the way back so I guess thats something. Stoked for tomorrow to get back and touch some weight, everybody loves chest and back.

Thanks for the support brother!

Awesome, I will definitely let you know. I'm not trying to do anything crazy like get down to 8% bf or anything, I just want to get rid of the majority of excess "sagging" fat, and then from there just keep putting on as much lean mass as possible, most of my goals have to do with lifting heavier weights, but I just figured I might as well look good doing it hahaha.

Any assistance you ever want, just let me know. The guys here are like a big family.... save for a few black sheep.... so help is always available!

Thanks bro! Yeah man I've gotten nothing other than support, most everyone here is real nice as long as you aren't a disrespectful piece of shit. Luckily I know how to keep a civil tongue, especially when speaking to people that are older/more knowledgeable than myself.
