The transformation thread

solid.
If I met you in person I would vote you "least likely to use colorful emojis". But yet you're probably the nicest guy on MESO...
Ya alot of people dont get me with all the tatts an piercings. It definitely gives off a bad kind of person/parent persona which is:( but really me an Moe are some of the funniest most outgoing people that you would ever meet in real life:D

Now in the gym its a totally different story. No play time, nice guy, emoji pushin Skull. Only thing you will see coming from me is hard work, sweat, determination, an dedication to finish the task I have set out for;):D Im their to either throw up or blow up:cool:

I remember checking your first cycle out of shape thread thing and thinking you were just being lazy, I am glad I never said it because man that is incredibly impressive. Most people don't have the determination you do and to stick with it like you have is inspiring. Everyone's at a different stage in the journey but the important thing is that you've started it and stick with it. Congrats on the weight loss I can't wait for you to post again in another 9 months being yolked out!

Would've been understandable lol. I tend to think the same way about a lot folks in that predicament. I used to think that if you weren't as big and shredded as possible while still natural, you had no business using anything. But I will say, the cruise played an integral role in what I've done so far. If nothing else, the psychological effects that came into play from elevating my testosterone drove me to continue, and added intensity as well as the confidence boosting strength increases.

However, with out dropping the alcohol, which didn't happen until the first weekend of July after downing almost a third full fifth of rum in 1 day, and diet with specified training, never would have been possible!

How has your strength been through all this? Have you been able to get stronger the whole time? Great job, either way. Whatever your goals I think you'll reach them, hardest part is over now.

Strength has greatly improved, even with my injuries, first my knee, then my back..... but for instance, I was barely able to squat 135 for 3 sets of 8.... now doing 225 for 3 sets of 12...

Deadlift was at 225 for 5, now 335 for 5

Seated dumbbell press was at 45lbs for 3x8, got to 90-100lbers instead....

So I'd say the strength gains have been there too.

Going for bodybuilding. Instead of starting with a vacant lot though, I had to clear away the trees and excavate the land before I can lay the foundation and begin to assemble the structure.

BB isn't so different from PL. Build strength and you will get bigger. You should still have impressive numbers being a BB. Progressive overload should be a big piece of your total picture along with volume work typically associated with BB workouts

Most assuredly. Just have to remember to not get caught up in weight being used and focus on the contraction etc... remove the ego lifting.

I still have my times where I try to push ridiculous weight, like a few Saturdays ago, where i went in just for deads, just not part of my routine. Sculpt each muscle according to my vision, and make it grow in turn.

Nice transformation. It makes no sense to me to cut the sleeves off a hoodie. Its like when I see guys wearing a jacket with shorts and flip-flops.
I hear you man. My wife has one of those "puffy" polo jackets with no arms/sleeves, and ended up getting me one... I had to tell her "Sorry, I just can't wrap my head around a jacket with no sleeves" I can't make that shit make sense, I don't give a fuck if it "looks cool".

Thanks, brother. It's only a slightly visible four-pack at the moment, but soon they will return.

Hah, I keep it trimmed now, but you should have seen me when I got out. I didn't cut my hair the whole 21 months and didn't cut my beard for the last year. Hair was well past shoulders and beard was below chest.
Damn... In Texas they make you shave everyday or you don't go to chow.

@vani11agori11a
All I can say is WOW!!! I've been silently following you since the beginning. Your dedication and results are something to be proud of. Not to minimize the physical accomplishments, because they are tremendous, but the bigger accomplishment in my eyes is that you took yourself from a poor diet, over drinking, sedentary and depressed place and turned it completely around. I see what you post in the food thread, I see the pride you have as a father, the motivation you have with the gym. You have changed ALL the things you were doing wrong and have stuck with it and been consistent for 9 months. A depressed person would not be able to do that for that long so that says something about how you've recompped your emotional state as well. You are an inspiration to many.

Thanks Mel! That means a lot! Definitely been a struggle. Luckily my bane can also be my most powerful tool. I have a super addictive personality.

From eating, to bodybuilding, to wrestling, to boxing, to mma, to work, to playing video games, to alcohol, to pot, tv shows, movies, even making money...... I can never get into something partially... it consumes every fiber of my being... that may not be healthy, but if I'm cautious, I can play it to my advantage like I have been :)

Wow @vani11agori11a you have came a long way in such a short amount of time bro. Just think of where youll be in another year? Hahaha if it wasnt for your hair you would be unrecognizable. Amazingly inspirational bro. Keep killin it. Never give up & Never give in!!!!!;):D:cool:
I have dreams about it regularly lol. Here's hoping I form em into reality!
