Has anybody ever strained while lifting and got an acute pulsing pain in head? It goes away when I’m done working out but comes back as soon as I strain to lift. Been going for about a week and a half now.
Today it happened so bad on my first set that it almost brought me to my knees. I lifted lighter than normal afterwards to keep from straining as much.
I read up a little on occipital neuralgia which has to do with nerve damage in the head, but it almost feels like blood vessel because of the pulsation.
Strange, painful, and annoying. Any experience with this or idea of what it may be and how to keep it at bay in the future?
