Excuse me but I am a mod at UGBB. I wasn't the one who banned him but I support why he was banned. He said he read our rules yet violated them by posting contact info. He also spammed the forum with 25 messages in 1.5hrs of pure nonsense.

Fucking rules will get you every time. I'd support it in that case, everytime. Even as a source you should want to be part of community in a productive manner, for everybody. That's very excessive. It takes some effort to push that many messages that fast.

I didnt mean to offend you doc and i meant no disrespect to ugbb, its a good board. But i do think that they can be very petty on the reasons why they ban people is all im saying. Yeah he broke the rules i guess but who needs a referee? See what i love about here is that everyone gets tossed to the wolves and its up to us to decided who is worthy.

I don't think we would be spamming this board so much if it wasn't being hijacked so many times for stupid reasons. We were trying to provide honest criticism of a source but this thread became something else entirely.

Arguments tend to happen and they're over quick. You'd never see the kind of bickering over there that you see here and that's fine by me. Different strokes for different folks.

You're right i haven't been there long enough to know all that goes down but speaking from experience on other boards with mods it just bothers me having so much oversight. I like the anarchy of meso and while i do agree with you that there are loads of unnecessary bullshit pages here, it is a small price to pay for the freedom of information here.

I've been on other moderated boards and agree with you. Most do suck and they protect scammers. I like to think that we're different from that at UG. We go after scammers hard there. We've also been able to get some scammers to make right by there customers thanks to the hard work of certain ppl.
