I would be extraordinarily careful with Ambien my dear friend.
The Z Drugs are all Schedule 4 Controlled Substances, same as Benzos. Although anabolics are Schedule 3, I have known Millard for a very long time.....Millard wants no part of selling Controlled Substances on Meso (obviously with the exception of anabolics). In fact I believe it is a rule on Meso to not allow the sale of Controlled Substances (again with the exception of anabolics).
I checked Purple Panda's list only a few days ago and I did not see Ambien on his list. I have no idea when he started selling Ambien, but I would advise Purple Panda to not allow Millard to become aware he is selling it as Millard will not tolerate that. Nor should he !!
Barbiturates, alcohol, Benzos, the Z Drugs....they all hit the exact same receptor - the GABA A receptor. If you try to detox off of Barbiturates, alcohol, Benzos or the Z Drugs cold turkey, you can very easily die from the resulting seizures. Benzos are no joke ! Ambien and the other Z Drugs are no joke either !! If you want a hypnotic, I would be extremely careful about choosing any of the Z Drugs as your hypnotic of choice. A much better choice for a hypnotic ? What I take to treat my intermittent insomnia - either Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) or Prescription Trazodone. Benadryl is over the counter. Trazodone is an old-school anti-depressant from the 1960's that has very heavy sedation as one of its side effects (hence its use as a hypnotic by millions of doctors across the world) Trazodone is not a controlled substance, unlike Ambien (good luck getting Ambien from an MD, the same way I say good luck getting a Benzo from an MD). I have used Trazodone for my insomnia since about 2002. Does a great job. I take 100mg and it knocks me the fuck out. You can start with 75 mg and I think 75mg might be plenty for you. Likewise, you can try either 50 mg or 100mg of Diphenhydramine for your insomnia.
I would be extremely careful with Ambien. If you do become dependent on Ambien, it will destroy your life the same way Benzos will wreck your life. Using Benzos or a Z Drug for sleep is a very slippery slope, one I caution people to avoid.
