Just as an addition to what I already posted previously. I did respond to the scam email, simply asking "who is this?" The response I received was even more scary than the first. The person outlined everything I ordered including amounts. So it appears whoever is doing this has our names, addresses, email, and the specific order information. So much for privacy.
On another note, I did contact my lawyer, Rick Collins. If anyone is concerned enough and wants legal advice/counsel, he is the best in the industry for this sort of stuff. He right off the bat said not to worry about the scam, to ignore it and move on. He reassured me that in his 25 years representing people with "gear" cases, that he's never seen agents go after small time people based on a simple order/email. Not that it can't happen, but realistically speaking, just to get a judge to sign off on a warrant, an agent would typically need a lot more evidence than just a small amount of gear on a receipt. Nine times out of ten you will be busted due to an intercepted package and you will most likely need to be caught with physical possession of a controlled substance. Then the proceedings can either go to possession, trafficking, importation-related, or dealer charges. All things none of us would want to happen, but very unlikely unless we ordered a shit-ton of gear (i.e. kilo amounts). This is not legal advice and I am not a lawyer, so if you want more information, simply contact Rick or another attorney.
I've personally sworn off gear years ago in 2018. That's one of the reasons this is concerning to me. That someone can have information from years ago and this can come back to haunt you. I've since removed everything out of the house and just want to move on with my life. I would suggest many of you do the same. For one thing, if you really want to be enhanced, you can get fantastic results on 200-300mg of physician-prescribed test, that is all too easy to get a hold of nowadays. Anything above 125mg test a week has already been proven in studies to put most people above supraphysiological ranges. Most people just want to look better and be stronger- not be stage-ready bodybuilders. Anyways, just food for thought. I'm not taking a moral position with this and truly believe people should do what they want with their own bodies. But if we think for a second that we can't be exposed for things we do online, we are sorely mistaken. And I'm not even blaming PPL here. We are all adults and can make our own decisions. We took the risk when we placed an order and need to live with the consequences if they arise.
