My upper abs are visible and I have veins on my serratus, but my lower abs look nothing like single digit bf and there's some loose skin. Yes Tirz is superior. It's Sema with an added GIP (another hormone like GLP) agonist that is very effective for clearing the fat from your liver, and suppressing some of the sides from Sema.

The key to avoiding sides with both is to eat small portions, only when actually feeling hunger, be exceptionally careful to eat lightly when raising the dose because your capacity for food without sides will be reduced almost immediately but appetite will take a few days to drop to match that.

Almost all sides are triggered by eating too much, or too quickly. It's a delayed reaction. so a lot of people don't make the connection.

Also, once a week dosing. Splitting seems to cause two peaks in the hormone's strength to cross and can make sides much worse.

Sema is more cost effective. That's the only advantage it has over Tirz.

Unless you're 600lbs or one of the very tiny minority of weak responders to these drugs your best bet it to follow the official dosing titration, other than starting at one level above the usual if you're male. (.50 for Sema and 5mg for Tirz).

I really believe this, and what you eat.

Yes true, certain foods are worse than others. It makes sense if one keeps in mind these GLP based meds are only amplifying the body's natural calorie intake mechanisms.

If you're feeling very full, and someone forces you to eat more, among other things you'll get nauseated and eventually throw up. If it's something really high in fat, that reaction happens even faster. GLPs amplify this reaction so it happens much sooner than it does without it. Like turning up the sensitivity control. Guys taking compounds to stimulate appetite turn down the sensitivity allowing them to eat more.

Once you're on a stable dose, and you learn to listen to your body, sides are almost non existent. In the beginning I learned sudden hiccups meant stop eating immediately. If I ate even one more bite, as much as 20 minutes later I'd be bent over the toilet wretching.

your best bet it to follow the official dosing titration, other than starting at one level above the usual if you're male. (.50 for Sema and 5mg for Tirz).

Sema hits GLP-1R about 10x harder. Tirzepatide has a much stronger focus on GIPR and actually has an affinity very close to native GIP. GIP does a better job at reducing hyperglycemia.

To most, I'd recommend sticking to the initial dose and avoid titrating up unless necessary. Holding lower doses for longer and then titrating up in smaller increments. A little can go along way for most. But also don't worry about titrating up if you feel you need it. I personally spent two months at 2.5mg of Tirz and then only titrated up in .5 increments as needed.

Hoping Retatrutide gets cheaper and trials continue to go well. The GCGR target it offers is pretty cool.
