Even when confronted with the high probability that the female is really a male masquerading as a woman, they strongly resist any such thoughts because it would inflict such damage to their gratifying parasocial relationships. So it's no wonder it's one of a few reasons sources like to use female names.

Sadly, the loyalty of such consumers/members is tied to the source brand - and not the community.
