SameCost of living seems to be better as well. I've been thinking about moving to South East Asia or Eastern Europe if I ended up getting a divorce. If that happens, there isn't much left for me in the US anyway

Cum all over those titties for meI hear you brother, it surely must be nice.
I can't complain about Eastern Europe either, besides the fact that my gorgeous misses she is from here, this is another place where instead of "politically correctness" we have "honest and direct" which I much prefer
Also Italians are very well appreciated here which is a plus for me being one
Here is us yesterday at one of the Malls as is starting to be winter here

needs more acres.I tell people if you've got $2k a month you can be comfortable. It boggles my mind to see people scratching out an existence on social security when this is an option.
If you've got $4k it's the equivalent lifestyle to making $300,000 in NYC.
If you've got $100k+ coming in Thailand becomes a "billionaire simulator" in terms of comparative lifestyle to the US.
Thailand strictly enforces immigration law (too many hippies who never leave), but you can get permanent residency by buying a condo, which are cheap. Or if you're 50+ and can prove you have a $1600/mo income or $20k in the bank you can get it. Finally you can just buy a Thai Elite Visa from 5-20 years long, with some of them giving you a personal escort bypassing immigration every time you fly in, then a limo ride to your home.
I know young guys from the US with military or workers comp disability checks who've set themselves up nicely, but have to take a bus across the border and back once every 90 days to renew their stay.
Buddy just bought a brand new loft to rent out, similar to this, in a cool, hip district, 30 foot ceilings, near the top of the tall building with awesome views. pool, for $150,000 plus another $10 in upgrades.

Stop using potorn mail with tracyI got a weird message from a vendor so I checked my sent folder and Proton had sent the same email like 6 times.
After giving up 50% in the eventual divorce, I should have about 4500-5000/mo of passive income. If you've got $4k it's the equivalent lifestyle to making $300,000 in NYC.
Yeah at this point, I just need a change where I can start over, get back to being in my best physical shape, and maybe (if I'm lucky) have a Asian GF or even a hookup once in awhile. I'm so burned/hurt from my marriage ending that I don't want anything serious for a long time (maybe forever). If you've got $100k+ coming in Thailand becomes a "billionaire simulator" in terms of comparative lifestyle to the US.
That’s where diddy has his Thailand based parties.I tell people if you've got $2k a month you can be comfortable. It boggles my mind to see people scratching out an existence on social security when this is an option.

Thanks brother, that's a very Eastern design and that mall has a bit of history as it was the first built in Bucharest many years ago.

Thanks for giving me some hope that there is still life to be lived in my mid 40s
@Clover 0080 ha!!!! He called you brother!
what goes on in the bars? You'd be a hot commodity. Thailand is a very conservative culture. despite the "live and let live" attitude, ladyboys, prostitution (the last two are deeply rooted in Thai history and not seen as shameful in any way). My Thai female friends tell me of all foreigners, American guys are seen as gentlemen compared to the rough handling they get from others,
Stay out of the bars. Just get there and focus on rebuilding yourself. The availability of women to men is off the charts, and the vast majority aren't the "gold digger" stereotype. Don't bring her back to the US though, that never seems to work out well. There's a huge expat community ready to welcome you, and within short order, other guys wives will start setting you up on dates.
Prostitution mainly and gold diggerswhat goes on in the bars?
