Shows BB in the worst category of silicone compatibility here as well:

Are you all referring to stoppers deteriorating from a bunch of stabs? Or rotting over time?

Shows BB in the worst category of silicone compatibility here as well:

Thanks for the info. Looks like I am going to changing out stoppers. I wonder why I’ve never seen damage. If I can find an old vial, I am going to take some photos to compare a year old stopper to a new one visually. Would this apply to <20% BB as well as 100% BB which is what I assume they tested it with.

I'm sure 20% will have an effect, how quickly who can say. You'd have to analyze the gear to determine what and how much leeched into it.

Obviously the longer the time, the more will migrate into the oil.

The chemical being extracted is polydimethylsiloxane, PDMS.

PDMS isn't particularly toxic orally.

PDMS is mildly toxic subcutaneously, and appears to build up in place, since the body has no means to break it down or flush it out.

PDMS that reaches the circulatory system is toxic and can be fatal in high doses.

The max acceptable limit for injectables is 93ug/day or about 1/10ml / day. That seems like a lot, but I'd rather keep it out entirely.

Again, I appreciate the info. Either way, better to be safe. I don’t have a subscription to sagepub and therefore could not read the whole study but the abstract was telling:

PDMS with high MW has minimal toxic symptoms with non-detectable degradation/elimination by both intraperitoneal and subcutaneous administration routes, while exposure to either PDMS or small molecule dimethyl silicone compounds by the intravenous administration route may lead to death. We here determined a general parenteral permitted daily exposure (PDE) of 93 μg/day for inorganic silicon element and 100 μg/day for organic silicon element by reviewing toxicological data of both forms of silicon.

There's some pretty awful stuff extracted from cheap bromobutyl stoppers as well,.

I have a report somewhere that shows how cheap stoppers on vials of injectables with solvents essentially leach a chemical soup, complete with heavy metals, similar to what you'd find in a Mexican tire factory.

Your best bet would be Westpharma Flurotec stoppers. You can find tons of them as surplus, cheap, on ebay. Like 95% off the retail price.

Essentially inert, even in the presence of solvents, for 10+ years.

Perfect for peptides too, since protein won't stick to them.

Something tells me the new QSC stoppers are not Westpharma.

Well it's still good progress. Maybe on the next run he'll spring for PTFE coated stoppers from his supplier and get some bragging rights vs competitors regarding an aspect of safety no one's paying attention to. Probobly only a few cents more each.

I figured since you're using your own stoppers, you may as well get the best.

Alternatively, these vials come presterilized with coated stoppers for those who'll refilter themselves anyway.

Anybody using the Oxandrolone 70mg Tabs? What's the feedback on these?
What do you mean by feedback? If you’re talking about testing, Tracy already posted the Jano report in the HPLC thread. Not many people around here rely on ‘feels,’ that’s too subjective and varies from person to person. Get some, have it tested, or try it yourself and see.

The package landed today; literally. One is still stuck in customs since the 19th. Big shoutout to Tracy’s crew for the solid packaging job with the bubble wrap. The delivery guy straight up tossed it over my fence onto the concrete, but not a single vial cracked or leaked thanks to the way it was wrapped. I’m missing a kit of Test P, but it’s no big deal. Hopefully, Tracy can sort that out before Chinese New Year. Planning to run some Jano testing soon and post the results here and in the HPLC thread.

I will actually upgrade my stoppers which will benefit me only. ~$1.50 a stopper is not unreasonable. Especially after upgrading my filtration. Expensive hobby but fun.

Take em down boys

I placed an order and waiting for the pack to land now. I haven't used any of the tabs from QSC before, but that deal on the Anavar was too good to pass up, so I'll give them a try.

If you were targeted for a controlled delivery, they wouldn't make you pick it up at the post office if you normally get home delivery.

Why would they do that? To make you suspicious and less likely to accept the package?

Because there are retards who will go and pick up illegal shit and make it that much easier for them.

You ever heard of undercovers? Setups? Where they set up operations and have you walk right into the trap?

Not every drug bust is a SWAT team raid.

Are you really trying to disagree with me that it's unwise to pick up controlled substances from a federal building? Don't really know what to say if that's the case. Hopefully you just want to argue for the sake of arguing- I understand that a lot more.

If they tell me to pick up the order I'm not responding.... And you should do that same thing lol

Could you please confirm the material identity on batches moving forward?

[Because XIANGYI is the manufacturer of the serum stopper, we can customize the color of the stopper, such as red serum stopper, gray serum stopper, pink serum stopper, Serum Stoppers in Red Natural Rubber, Gray Butyl, and Silicone, and we can customize the size of the serum stopper, such serum stopper with Straight Sided Plugs, 11mm, 13mm, and 20mm, serum bottle stoppers with Blow back finish, 20mm and 30mm.]

I checked.
