Recovery Log!! (in HM ONLY)

Dec 31st
0.25mg Arimidex
1000ius Beta Hcg
10mg Tamoxifen

Feeling really good right now.

Felt like I was shutdown again (testicles);

I gotta say there's a sense of vitality or virility or whatever you want to call it from the testicles.

My plan is to continue weekly Beta Hcg injections for 3-4 months and then transition off treatment with Tamoxifen.

I will be off TRT by summer 2017.

At 35 years old it's a use it or lose it situation when it comes to my fertility.

Been on TRT for 6 years now and my testicles ain't getting any younger.

My last restart was going well but I gave up on it too early due to anxiety.

This time I will take Tamoxifen for full 30 days and I will have vacation time if I need it during the Hcg ---> SERM transition.

I feel REALLY good right now ....

My testicles had definetly shutdown and Hcg has woke them back up.

I want to keep them awake now.

Will be staying on Hcg.

My plan is Tamoxifen maintenance as longterm TRT.

I feel like I can probably get a few years out of that at least. My hope is 5 years.

To recap:
Beta Hcg for 3-4 months
Tamoxifen daily for 30-45 days
Tamoxifen 2X week indefinetly

Maintaining on Tamoxifen also removes the stigma of being a "low T" male because it should boost my T into a normal range.

After that, I won't think about testosterone estadiol dht SHBG estrogen blockers prescriptions lab work doctors appointments etc etc etc

Pop a pill 2X and that's it.

There's something psychologically comforting about knowing my testicles are working.

The sex I've had on TRT has been OK but im looking forward to more natural feeling orgasms and being able to blow my load on a girls ass tits stomach etc and not have it be watered down garbage.

Also that deep desire to fuck a girl and blow inside her pussy cause that's what we are here for.

I may just do 30 days Tamoxifen starting today.

I dont think I need to do a bunch of Hcg since I am definetly feeling the effects from this injection so that means my testicles still work fine.

Why not start 2017 off TRT?

Tamoxifen 30 days in January.

Then 3X per week in February.

And then maintenance from March onwards.

Definite mental clarity feeling 24 hours post Hcg injection.
I remember this feeling from September but I lost it when I went back on the testosterone.

The testicles definetly have some sort of mental clarity effect.

Mental calmness and clarity. I'm definetly not imaging it.

I had posted something earlier in this recovery thread: "I feel mentally a lot more clear headed today and when I was driving around the world looks like it's in HD. Everything is bright and sharp looking."

This is the EXACT same feeling after the Beta Hcg injection.

The world seems sharper and in HD.

I do not have this feeling on testosterone only.

5 days on Tamoxifen 10mg and thats it. I'm waking up with morning wood every morning. And it's the type of morning wood that is sustained even after you wake up.

I don't understand why I never had consistent morning wood on TRT? It makes no sense to me.

Energy wise I am fatigued but I'm gonna push through this and see if I can go SERM only.

I started 2017 TRT free :)

I would like to stay off now.

Tyler
Have you ever used clomid ?
Also, where did you read that nolvadex is effective every other day like clomid?

I have used clomid lol I hate that shit.
Check this log for some clinical studies comparing tamoxifen to clomid.
There is one study that shows 150mg of clomid is comparble to 20mg of Tamoxifen.

Tamoxifen gives me no emotional sides; clomid turns me into a pmsing woman.

Nolvadex raises shgb levels which in turn lowers free T levels even though total testosterone increases. It also lowers IGF1 due to its estrogenic affect on the liver. It can also cause issues with the eyes even though clomid is more famous for that.
I have heard clomid at 25 or even 12.5 mgs 3 x per week along with a very small dose of arimadex is great. The small arimidex dosage will eliminate or dramatically reduce the estrogenic side effects which manifests as depression and low libido.
Clomid increases both total and free T and has no negative effect on IGF-1.
Point is, nolvadex isnt as safe as these forums purport it to be.

**UPDATE**

I am on 5mg TAMOXIFEN.

The first 5 days were rough but now I feel calm and good.
(I increased the dose to 5mg X2 the past two days ............)

I will continue Tamoxifen only as my TRT and do labs at two weeks.

I am done with TRT.

It's been a ride. It's been a trip. It's been fun at times and awful at times.

I am content to live in "low normal range" and boost occasionally with Tamoxifen.

I'm looking forward to getting off this rollercoaster of hell that is TRT! :)

My mood is more consistent off treatment and i proved that Hcg definetly does have a "feel good effect" that was lacking on testosterone only. So I am happy to be getting off and getting my testicles back and getting my own endogenous production going after 6 years.

I will NOT be going back on testosterone this time.

Tamoxifen seems to work for me and I can tolerate it so it will be my form of TRT.

Hey Tyler

I hope you have cont d success with this restart. Glad to see your still updating your thread. I read an article online about tamoxifen being used as a mood stabilizer something about pkc inhibition (?) anyhow I found it interesting because you ve said that you notice a calming affect with the tamoxifen so that might have something to do with that.

Thanks buddy.
Feeling pretty good on Tamoxifen only!
Gonna ride this out for 2-4 weeks draw labs and go from there.

And yeah Tamoxifen definetly has a "calming" effect. So that may be one reason I like it. (aside from the endogenous testosterone boost)

Bloodwork results

Testosterone 8.3 nmol/L range: 8.4 - 28.8 nmol/L
Estradiol 40 pmol/L range: >162pmol/L
LH: 3.1 range 1.0 - 7.0 IU/L
FSH: 2.0 range 1.0 - 8.0 IU/L
SHBG: 18.4 range: 10.0 - 70.0 nmol/L

Testosterone is still fairly low however the LH value has increased slightly.
SHBG has increased considerably on the Tamoxifen which is probably good for me.

Overall I feel ok.
I feel mentally more stable and level and clear headed.
Physically I feel bit fatigued but not too bad. Workouts are ok.

I have lost a bit of weight (mass) but feel less bloated.

I woke up with pretty solid morning wood this morning.

I will probably retest again in two weeks to see if this number has increased.
