Remember when they asked Donald.

Remember when they asked Donald if he would accept a loss and he said we'll have to wait and see. remember how half of America was in shock. it was the worst thing ever. it was anti democracy. man, what a ruckus. the nerve of this guy disrupting our beloved democracy. now this makes two Republican wins in a row that the Democrats can't accept the loss. is this the new norm? every election where a Republican wins the Democrats will not allow a peaceful transfer of power? it is quite disgraceful.

Clinton didn't ask for a recount. The Green party wants recounts in order to have the mailing lists to fund their future elections., but this is nothing compared to the shit storm Trump would have thrown if he had lost. He can't even handle the fact that 2 million more Americans voted for Clinton than for him. Once again he has to completely disrespect our voting process and claimed that millions of votes were illegal, and that he actually won the popular vote as well. He is the most dangerous person this country has ever elected to the office.

Trump would have never conceded the election period even when confronted with proof positive that he lost. We would have never seen a concession speech from trump.

Clinton is fully behind the recount and i'm sure her and her team were behind it the whole time. regardless, they're certainly on board now. that makes 2 times in your lifetime now that the outcome of an election wasn't accepted and both by Democrats. As far as your comments about what trump would have done you have no idea what he would have done. We do know what the Democrats would have done with Bush vs gore and now hillary vs trump. And the "trump is the most dangerous person we ever elected to office" that's a pretty wild and laughable accusation.

What is laughable, if the consequences were not so serious, is that Trump was elected president. Enjoy the next 4 years because people of a like mind as yours will no longer be able to injure this nation with your stupidity after the people of this country see what the consequences are for a careless vote.

Actually, your support of Hillary shows that you truly haven't a clue What she's really about and a vote for her is another 4 years of Obamas twin. Obama doubled the national debt, there are more people on welfare now than there's ever been in the HISTORY of this country and more black males on welfare than there's ever been. Obamacare is a total failure and millions lost their doctors after Obama told everyone they could keep their current physicians. Did I mention that he DOUBLED the national debt?!? Yeah we need more of that

It's really no wonder why so many decided to take a chance on Trump than to go with the proven loser. In 30 years, she's accomplished nothing beyond lining her very deep pockets.
Hillary made a dramatic speech about how Un American a recount would be and now, she's being the hipocrite she's always been. The recount will change nothing. They're seeking to delegitimize Trumps win, that's all.

@DedLift I would say can't we be civil about this, but I feel that you are so wrong to support a man like trump that I don't care. He is a danger to our democracy. I can understand why an uneducated asshole like yourself would support a megalomaniac moron like Trump.

Actually you're just doing what you've always done and making odd asssumptions, putting words in my mouth. Where did I say I supported Trump? No, Trump is no savior for this country but neither was Hillary. It's pretty sad that they're the best candidates we could come up with but the fact is
The ship has already sailed. The damage has been done and now we can all sit back and watch as our economic bubble pops and decimates this economy. Been paying into social security so you won't have to work until you're 80? Itll be bankrupt long before you and I ever get to utilize it.

That said, I'm actually pretty level headed and laid back. I won't throw insults your way as that would just continue with you for another 15 pages before you make another round of apologies to everyone you trample that disagrees with you.

You do what you do, and I'll try to stay out of your way. I don't come here for immature cell gangster type talk. I can get that anywhere

I am only giving you my opinion of your opinion concerning our president elect. On any other forum on this board, I would respect your opinion.

I couldn't in good concience vote for either of them but felt the same way about Hillary as you do about Trump. People voted for him because he's not a politician. People are tired of being fed lies and losing their jobs to immigrants. Michigan had 88,000 manufacturing jobs not long ago. Guess how many there are now? 8,000.

It's cool man, don't sweat the small stuff. I used to be a very angry, unhappy person but I realized it was me holding myself back from being happy. Being constantly irritated by things that don't really matter. It got old. Being my own worst enemy

Both parties have betrayed our country by allowing obsence trade deals that take manufacturing jobs away from America. I just don't think Trump is the answer. I just think he hi jacked the movement in public opinion. I don't think he has any answers.

One thing I am certain of is that the Trump family fortune will be 20 times what it is in a few years. He ran and won because his ego has to make him the most powerful man in the world. He is now. He couldn't give a fuck about you or me. He cares only about his needs. Watch what happens.

Okay. I was very disappointed when Hillary won the Democratic nomination. If we are ever in lock up because we use steroids brother, I will be an ally and a friend.

You're right! You see the problem. Americans have never before been so divided as they are right now. We are at war with each other and miss the opportunity to unite and take back a government that has been cheating us for generations. Work time. Have a good one Paul

Are you aware that the debt was projected to increase prior to Obama taking office?

Or that spending and tax decisions largely fall with Congress?

Let's pick up this conversation in a few years though after Trump has been in office. :)

I hope we're in a position to be able to pick up this conversation in a few years. I see this election as the beginning of some very dark times ahead and I try to be optimistic. The fact that a guy like Trump will be our next president is symbolic in many ways. Hopefully he makes good on what he says but in my experience none in Washington are to be trusted. Obama basically scattered the democratic party

this is a good point. The debt has doubled under every president with the exception of Bill Clinton who oversaw the largest economic expansion in US history and zeroed the debt altogether. Obama inherited a crap economic situation from the Bush administration this is true.

Very happy you brought this point up... Because it makes this thread very ironic if you thinks about it.

It's got nothing to do with a peaceful transfer of power... Does the word recession mean anything to all the Republicans so upset about a peaceful transfer of "power"?
