roadkill said:My 2 cents....who the hell cares. Yes it's alot of weight no matter how you look at it and I'll never even come close to it but my vocabulary consists of 1 or 2 more words other than " yeah buddy"
z06vettepilot said:C'mon Roadkill, get your information straight. He actually has up to four words in his vocabulary. Did you forget about the other two words, "Light weight"? lol!![]()
Bob Smith said:getswoll is dead on. Im sure if you were able to do the physics of a leg press, then the weight of an equivilent squat would probably only be 600-700. Not really that impressive at all.
Grizzly said:He did begin as a powerlifter and I believe he can deadlift over 800lbs, so his squat is certainly higher than that. All in all, the guy is certainly strong. I don't begrudge him a thing.
And listen up Getswoll, you lightweight, the pounds lifted relative to bodyweight thing alwasy favors a lighter lifter. That's the reason why the heavyweights like totals and the lighter guys like the lb/bw method.
With that said, he sure does use an awful lot of gear to have 170lbs olympic lifters outsquat him with a front squat. LOL
Have you heard him speak before? If not, there is a reason why he doesnt talk in the video.z06vettepilot said:That video is motivational seeing the poundage that he trains with, but a little on the boring side, he doesn't talk much at all.
