I only run motorcraft in my 7.3.. I've heard other filters "don't agree" with most ford engines. From a 20 year warranty supervisor at ford.
Turns out the motorcraft is a purolator pure 1. Their top of the line offering. They rebadge it for motorcraft and its cheaper. Same exact thing. The purolator pure 1 is even rated just ahead of mobil1 filter. Which is pretty hard to do

Speaking of shaving... during WW2 razor sales were plummeting in the US since most males were off fighting the good fight. @gr8whitetrukker any experience with the 6.2 ford? Came in the superduty since 11 also in the raptor and certain f150 models. Single overhead cam dual plugs per cylinder 400hp 400ftlbs in stock trim (depending on what it comes out of) and it basically bolts in where any other mod motor (4.6 5.4) would. Doesn't have a forged crank but at half the cost of a salvage yard 5.0 I could really do some damage. Some raptor guys are running 10lbs of boost on stock internals making just north of 700hp

Which makes them less ideal for racing purposes due to alot of reasons. That big ass iron block certainly not the least of which. But why not an ecoboost?

far as weight goes they're not that bad of course the ecoboost is lighter but it's at the top of its ability in stock trim. I know some ford techs that are tired of working on them and the 5.0 is crazy fuckin 4k for a 75k mile engine
I believe the ecoboost would also be too wide given where the turbo are mounted.

God I hope so. Didn't even call to check. 6.2 seems more along my budget.lol the 6.2 isn't as wide as the 5.0 so no strut tower modifications, I can just buy a k member for a 4.6 and it'll bolt right in so no or little welding.
No tranny for sure don't know if they'd of thrown in the harness

It'd definitely be cool but looks like it's going to be 3grand for a salvage motor with turbos
and then theirs fitment issues, custom mounts and limited amount of trans options.
Car. Truck has different cams and doesn't have the forged crank.
truck 5.0 are around 3grand lowest one I found with decent millage was $2,700.

Get a predigital Mercedes V12. Pre 96 I think. And a set of headers with crossover pipes. Simply divine sound, you'll practically cream your pants.
