I feel so sorry for this young female but after reading the news report the 1st thing that entered my mind was WTF was she doing walking through a deserted park between midnight and 2am in this day and age? I'm a biggish dude and quite threatening to even look at in the daytime but even I would not go out for a walk in a park at that time of night.

Who's to blame for her assault? The female or the freaks that attacked her?

Did you actually read the topic starter bro? This potential discussion has nothing to do with what clothes a woman was wearing (that nobody would see anyway in the darkness of night) and it's more about the lack of common sense and awareness in modern society if you've even got the mental capacity to read between the lines of what I'm saying?

Assuming that you've got kids....have you raised them to know that going for a walk in the woods alone in the middle of the night is not a good idea?

I'd put the onus on the female and her shoddy parents but I do feel sorry that she got sexually abused.

Don't go out at night and walk through deserted places unless you're a dumb fuck. Simple !!!

Night-time is playtime for freaks and weirdos.
 
Its not her fault at all! But I really have to agree even I would not be strolling at 2am in an empty park I'd take the road way round and I'm certainly not scared of the dark.. just not stupid.

I would expect someone to already know not to do this, maybe there needs to be some sort of signs. Might not be much but it would make people think twice. Like if for instance if you set off walking and seen a sign maybe you would think... hang on this is a bad idea.

But yeh it's the guys fault rape is a crime, walking through a park is not.
 
It is definitely the guys fault. Wtf how is this even a question? Regardless, yeah it was fucking stupid to take a walk at midnight alone as a woman. Even if she was part of a group it would be done because it wouldn't be hard for two guys to break the group up and separate one from the rest.

She made a poor choice and was reckless with her own safety. That doesn't mean it is her fault in the slightest. If you drive a nice car is it your fault if you get carjacked? If you have a brand new smartphone is it your fault if you get mugged? If you live in a nice house is it your fault if some guys break in and steal all your shit while you're gone? If you have a hot wife is it your fault of some guys come in and rape and kill her in front of you? Yeah totally. Shouldve married an obese woman.

No victim should ever be blamed for the crimes committed against them. It is always always 100% the responsibility and the fault of the attacker/thief/whatever. I don't care what dumb thing they did, what they wore (I realize that wasn't part of the original question but it's a classic dumb thing some old, usually religious conservative guys say). Thankfully she gets free mental health care. Hopefully the poor girl isn't pregnant and can heal from this.

You're an idiot bro. Lol. There's no way in hell you can justify the evil of a person to blame the victim. The clothes thing was a statement to point out the idiocy of your comment. There's no in between the lines. She was fuckin raped. It doesn't matter the time of day, circumstances, or situation. Another human shouldn't do that to another human regardless of all that shit. And if one does. The time of day or location shouldn't matter. It shouldn't happen because humans shouldn't do that.

Lol the point I was trying to make. I still can't believe some shit people say. Never in a million years is it a victims fault of the terrible actions of someone else
 
Some interesting opinions posted so far but only a few worthy of a response as the topic appears to have been taken very personally by some members and their responses are not calm or neutral.

Doesn't matter if she walked down the street nude, no one has the right to touch you ever unless you give them permission.

As long as the evidence is 100% solid, semen recovered from both men on her, then they should both be put in holes together in position 69 and the hole filled with cement so they can spend eternity sucking each others dicks.

We have an entirely wrong approach to crime. Nothing wrong with an eye for an eye.

Harm a child and we will pubicly sever an arm or leg or depending on the circumstances both. Rape someone guess what we remove from your body. Walk into Walgreens in broad daylight and steal and you lose a hand.

How many crimes of that nature would you expect to see after a couple months? Just a nation of good citizens is my guess.

I agree that nobody has the right to sexually or physically assault another person (although walking down the street naked through personal choice is also not something any decent person has the right to do) but I just can't get my head around the fact that this female chose to walk through some woods in the middle of the night when there was a really high probability that something bad was going to happen to her.

I don't want to seem like I lack empathy but I can't show much pity towards pure stupidity.

Obviously sexual predators are abhorrent animals but that's not the point.
