Sheiko strikes again

A little lost in the gym right now but it's all good. Getting some reading in on what to do next. Looking at a basic 5x5 maybe. Will decide soon...

Farted aroung the gym this morning getting a good pump. Did some incline bb, a while lotta cable flies. Went a little heavy on BB squat for some redemption lol.

Don't know why but the gym had lots of yoga pants walking around this morning. Maybe an after labor day thing? All I know is I might switch to morning workouts exclusively after today :)

Just been farting around at the gym this week. Nothing spectacular really, just a physical and mental deload I think.

I am getting into eating a larger volume of food. I'm hoping this will help with power as well as size, I know it will! I ran Sheiko with a restricted diet and have decided to go all in with calories for the rest of the year and into next year. I'll cut in the springtime :) gonna run a split laid out by weighted chinup, looks like it is my speed.

I'm going to keep this thread going so I have a 'one stop shop' to reflect back on when I'm an old Meso vet.

CHAPTER 2

I'm going to call it "Sheiko strikes again, again". Kinda has a good ring to it, lol. Only thing is there is no Sheiko right now. I officially started a new plan and it is a bit different going back to volume but I liked it day one. I learned a few things today. Front squats are no fucking joke. I have a LONG way to go there... not all yoga pants are created equal, lesson learned haha. I'm not going to be hitting up the thread everyday but will be posting progress and milestones, questions/advice mentoring etc.

I am still going to be pushing for power but this training will be for growth by and large. I will get some measurements post soon. I plan on running this into the new year so that will be a solid 3 months which doesn't suck.

Drugs are limited to 3.5iu Grey's nightly and 200mg wk of test e.

Still eating a larger amount of good foods and feel as though I have become accustomed to it. I get hungry much more often now. I'm killing it in the gym and have settled down after Shieko ended. I'm getting bigger and stronger so I'm headed to the goal I guess, lol. on a side note, the wife basically raped me when I got home. I don't know what she was watching before I got home but she should watch it often :)

I did something today that will hopefully help out with training and development. I've been restrained a bit because of the type of gym I've been at. I called someone I know who has a place and signed up with him. It's a crossfit spot but he will do a reg membership. I'm really excited tbh.

This is all occurring because my gym has basically outlawed deadlifting. I got reprimanded for doing them the other day. it's time to make a move :)

Bump this bad boy :)

It's been a while, negligent really. I'm still eating large, lifting heavy and now that the supplements are back in the fold I am compelled to try this Shieko thing again.

I have no clue what my max #s are. I am going to use my old numbers to start and go from there. if anything I'm stronger on Deads and Squats, maybe a little less power on the bench due to focusing on the other two.

I'm going with a three day schedule and will throw in cardio and fun extras to stay healty. I feel that my efforts are great but I am not well rounded. I need better lungs and more mobility. first step is to admit you have a problem ;)

I'm healthy. my outside left elbow aches, that's my only real issue.

watching all of you gain strength, recomp, get shreaded or HUGE has been an amazing time and has been a great source of motivation for me. I hope you all keep it up and find motivation in my log. stay safe and have fun Meso!!

running:
medium load prep 1 intermediate
day 1 week 1

actual weight is different than listed, always rounding up to the next 5# increment.

ex1. 168# = 170#
ex2. 201# = 205#

skipped last 2 due to time restrictions. I am forcing myself to do morning gym sessions and am still adjusting the time frame even earlier to allow a proper amount of time.

second set of DL were off a 4" lift. the DL session today was like a warm up. my last 5x5 before I started Shieko was 415(first three sets) and 405 for the last two (which felt easy) I need to adjust this weight going forward I think.

the leg extensions weight started at 130# and went up 20# per set. I get a good bout of inflammation when I go heavy with these so I attenuated the weight.

abs, lol. I ate a second breakfast sandwich. good ab session haha

all told a super easy workout.

I took some measurements this morning. no pump, just regular old me...

left forearm 15 5/8
right forearm 15 1/2
left bicep 18
right bicep 17 3/4
left calf 18 1/2
right calf 17 1/2
left quad 28 1/2
right quad 26 1/4
neck 19 1/2
chest 48 (around entire body, across nipples)
waist 41
hips 42 1/4

no clue why I took these, just was wondering I guess.

I am sitting just under 255# as well. I want to be bigger physically, like a mass monster but right now I'm chasing those #s!! want to push myself as far as I can go with strength for a while.

I did the unthinkable this weekend. I stayed sober from alcohol!! I did have a few on Friday but it was moderate at worst.

what I did do was overeat during the games yesterday :( I've been sick as a dog because of it.

I'm pushing my workouts out a day to compensate. all I know is it was worth it. the superbowl is gonna be awesome!

feeling great, moving iron easily. not adjusting any weight, just decreasing time inbetween sets.

for 'chest muscles 8x5' I did close grip bench. I did three at 225 and reduced to 185 for the balance.

good mornings expose a weak spot. 350 is way heavier than I could handle. 315/300 was about where my form goes to shit.

all cylinders are firing correctly right now, everything moving well, joints are doing well. No complaints.

Went heavier in bench:
175 x 6 x 1
205 x 5 x 1
245 x 4 x 1
265 x 3 x 1
295 x 2 x 2
315 x 1 x 2
265 x 3 x 1
225 x 5 x 1
225 x 5 x 1

Lat ex was db rows
80#
90#
100#
110#

Good mornings were all at 275#

Ate a nice full breakfast after the gym, have some shit to do around the crib and tonight is gonna be sweet. Going to the garden for an Eric Church show. Love my metal but I'm a country boy too!!
