Sheiko strikes again

So after running the whole program, what do you think of it?
I liked it a lot. I have so much respect for the big boys that play with real weight. I thought the prep cycle was awesome, killed me every time. I drifted as the comp cycle went on. Overall I liked it and am going to find another PL plan and get to it

Edit - by big boy weight I mean folks much stronger than me...

You're supposed to do all three lifts for a mock meet.

GH is definitely a game changer, this is my sixth month and I'm leaner than I've ever been.
Shit, I'm doing it wrong? I was going to do deadlifts tomorrow, Sheiko sheet had two days for the work. How does this work traditionally? I'm obviously wrong haha, oops...

Feeling like a donkey right now... what a way to end it.
I'm at least going to do DL tomorrow. Damn, lol...

Final numbers are

Bench - 350
Squat - 460
Deadlift - 475

1285 total, missed my 1300 goal

After all is said and done I'm walking away from the past 2.5months with a crazy amount of respect for what I takes to PL. Everything from the food, training, crazy amounts of stretching and keeping a good log of my workouts. I know in the big picture what I just did is such a small part of my overall life in the gym so far but it helped open my eyes up a bit. I was primarily a 'looks' kind of guy but after Sheiko I am sold and am still going to go after bigger numbers as well as the 'look'. For my first PL attempt I'd say I'm hooked!

Thanks again to everyone that decided to follow along and contribute. I hope my next log can end with me hitting my goals but as long as I'm moving forward and staying safe I can't complain! Have a happy and healthy long weekend guy!!

Luckily we run gear, so we can have the look and the numbers if we want to. You got a respectable off cycle total though, I'm looking forward to following your upcoming cycle. Gonna keep a log?

Thank you for the kind words. I tried as hard as possible to keep my power and for the most part it payed off. Work and nutrition were paramount, and maybe the Grey's haha.

With out a doubt my man, i am going to log my next cycle. I'm going to continue logging my workload as well. That's new to me and i like seeing where i am going as well as where i've been. I've started planning my next cycle. I have test e and maybe deca in my crosshairs. Also a little interested in masteron but I don't think that is going to be part of the plan this next go.

I plan on jumping on a real cycle around the turn of the year. I have also been thinking of running a cruising dose of test. I feel like that Is a big step though. its just that i miss it so much, like i lost my first girlfriend or something.

I'm not looking forward to mine ending in two weeks. In a lot of ways this cycle was a disaster, but I got lean and I'm pretty much just as strong thirty pounds lighter. I still want to crack 1500lbs two weeks from today and take a couple state records.

A good strength cycle should launch you into the 1400's easily. You've got the size already.

Yeah, I've been reading 5 guys. Hope you get through safely and hit 1500. You know what your doing though, you got it. I'd say your cycle was successful based on the 30# loss with no strength decrease. That's kind of what Shieko did for me. I lost about ten pounds and have kept my strength up. Oh and if you can get a state record or two well God damn dude! That's sick! Some strong mother fuckers in meso...

Went to the gym and was completely unprepared. No plan, no direction.

Ended up DL and incline pressing, some cardio. I got 315x10 on DL. Grip was shot but the bar moved. My max with 315 was 6 prior to Shieko. That's cool.

I'm only posting here because it's a habit now. Will start something different next week...

Squat landed at 462#, I fought like hell to get it. if it were 465 I would have failed, 100%. had a serious hitch point but pushed through it. This is actually a video, just need to get to a computer to load it.

Bench landed at 350#, fought hard for that rep as well. Not sure what happened there? Was hoping for a better number but being off cycle I'm not going to complain. The rep was a solid 4/5 seconds and took a shit ton of energy out of me. Max was a 'did not attempt', I knew I didn't have it in me. No video or pics of the 350, was going to get media on the next rep :(

Do you have access to anything more than a smith machine?

I say keep this log going forever. 20 years from now be on page 4000
