My mom is not a big woman yet she carried me around in a papoose like thing when I was a baby. Man I was a heavy one she told me lol...about 9lbs at birth I was.

Lol. Same here. Glad I'm a dude as well. I found out today from my psychologist that women that go through post Partum usually have some type of disorder. Explains why my wife is a lunatic when she's pregnant and after.

My kid is a step son so I didn't deal with it if she had any issues, thank god. I knew the family from about kindergarten and have know the son since he was born.

Now when I stop and think about it she has menopause in her not to distant future :eek: WTF haha

Yes definitely, as something like this can be life threatening if things go terribly wrong. Hope she does listen to your advice. Not to sound like a douche or put down your wife's religious views but serious medical issues need medical intervention...prayers don't exactly mean shit in that case.

My thoughts exactly. I believe in God but as you stated certain things require medical attention.
 
That's something that I need work with is my speed bringing the bar down.

Have you ever heard of a manpon press? It's a soft board in place of a board press... Usually it's just used like a board press but, at Westside they use it for speed. You can tuck it under your shirt and use something like 50% of your 1RM on the bar. I saw a video where they added bands to that. When you get the bar out above, you really bring the bar down with force into the pad, almost like your hitting yourself in the chest and then pressing as fast as you possibly can.

It helps with overall speed but the descent is really focused on because of the pad.

I have a good chest and I can grind out heavy slow reps no prob. It's not explosive though.

General observations as of this morning...

My weight is still slowly coming down. I'm about 255-253# for the past few days but my diet hasn't been perfect. I could be eating more.

I'm guessing it's the tren because it's new but when I flex my muscles are super shredded looking. I was a pudgy bastard like two weeks ago. Has to be the tren, right??
 
Inzer Z wrist wraps are so cool. I got a good chest day in and these things are so much better than the crap I've been slumming it with. First of all I feel like I could punch through a wall with the damn stability they provide. When I got into heavier reps I wasn't even thinking about my wrists at all which has never happened before. I had some wrist wobble under 315 like 6 months ago and I've never not thought about it since. I'll still have it in my mind but not like before. Can't wait to try the knee wraps!!!!

A lot of product reviews today, love that bow tie thing. My wife would benefit from that I think. Her shoulders round forward a little from her job and her huge boobs :D

Every rep was smooth and went up like you would want, until 360. Lol. I brought it down way to slow and had a bitch of a time off my chest but when it moved it moved quickly. Like, it was promising how fast it went when it moved. So I'll take that as a win. That's something that I need work with is my speed bringing the bar down.

Did a little work with explosiveness off my chest. Again, trying to get a better connection from my feet all the way to the bar with these reps.

Strange day at the gym, tagged along with the wife and did chest at my old gym today. I was out of place. A bunch of fist pumps and people asking how I've been and all that jazz but no squating or pulling as far as the eye could see. Serious reminder of why I left but the yoga pants, oh that wonderful person that invented yoga pants. I missed that haha :)
What size wraps did you get? I got a pair or 12" but I'm thinking about getting 18" or 24"
 
Wild times at Meso... so much non lifting related slop is going on. I'm all set in the PPL thread so I can fade way back here and the nutrition area.

Life is crazy for me right now guys. We have some personal things that are driving some movement in the home purchasing area of life. Work is always pulling at me to put some time in after hours. And all I want to do is eat, train and smoke pot. Why can't I get what I want haha??

Today is an off day. Tomorrow is going to be my first time squating with wraps. I'm going to try them out and watch some videos on how to actually use the wraps the correct way. Should be a fun time : )
