Sheiko strikes again

I probably look like a douche recording my lifts all the time. I don't care though, I need the visual feedback. I'll always record my last few ramp up sets on heavy days because my mind lies to me about how hard they are and the video never lies. That way I can properly choose my heavy set.

I'd like to be able to edit my vids like that for sure.
No doucherey in recording your lifts bro. It's good feedback. Especially when you don't have a partner or coach to give you feedback.

What is everyone using to video their lifts? I have a Gopro and a Canon EOS 7D, that's if I want great quality. However, it's a lot to carry and very expensive if a dumbbell hits it lol

I use my phone but got a Kodak digital camera as well. As photography is my hobby I may spring for one of those Nikon dslr's. Expensive but worth it.

Love my Canon and yes, very expensive. However, the ability to change lenses for different situation and pictures makes it well worth the price. There are starting to be a lot of DSLR's coming from China and have a completely different warranty than the USA made DSLR, so be careful when buying.

There are places that are much cheaper than Amazon, shop around as I do not want to be posting web sites on this forum.

Oh I know, just probably looks it to the casual lifters that don't understand such things. Not that they'd ever say anything anyway, lol. I consider it vital for the solo lifter like myself.

I agree that it is vital to those of us lifting alone. Sometimes you know on a max effort lift that you had a form issue but a lot of times that isn't the case until you watch the video.

Agreed. I still have an old Olympus 35mm film camera with multiple lenses including zooms. Wish I could find an Olympus dslr that can take those lenses I paid good money for in the 80s.

Inzer Z wrist wraps are so cool. I got a good chest day in and these things are so much better than the crap I've been slumming it with. First of all I feel like I could punch through a wall with the damn stability they provide. When I got into heavier reps I wasn't even thinking about my wrists at all which has never happened before. I had some wrist wobble under 315 like 6 months ago and I've never not thought about it since. I'll still have it in my mind but not like before. Can't wait to try the knee wraps!!!!

A lot of product reviews today, love that bow tie thing. My wife would benefit from that I think. Her shoulders round forward a little from her job and her huge boobs :D

Bench
135 X 10
135 X 10
225 X 5
275 X 5
315 X 3
340 X 1
360 X 1

Every rep was smooth and went up like you would want, until 360. Lol. I brought it down way to slow and had a bitch of a time off my chest but when it moved it moved quickly. Like, it was promising how fast it went when it moved. So I'll take that as a win. That's something that I need work with is my speed bringing the bar down.

More bench

225 X 10
225 X 8
185 X 10
135 X 10

Did a little work with explosiveness off my chest. Again, trying to get a better connection from my feet all the way to the bar with these reps.

Strange day at the gym, tagged along with the wife and did chest at my old gym today. I was out of place. A bunch of fist pumps and people asking how I've been and all that jazz but no squating or pulling as far as the eye could see. Serious reminder of why I left but the yoga pants, oh that wonderful person that invented yoga pants. I missed that haha :)

A job that requires a lot of sitting and huge boobs will do it. Lol.

Very true. We have had talks about a reduction. I'm all about it for a quality of life improvement.

She's a trooper. That's for sure.
Yeah bro I can only imagine how taxing big boobs are on the back.

My first son I used to carry him around in one of those front carriers and it killed my back.
