When on the 5x5 program and taking mad protein to bulk up, I want to also avoid putting on too much fat. How can i do this? Will doing cardio to burn fat exhaust my muscles and fuck up my gains?

dude i would say if your at a pretty good BF% now not to worry about gaining fat. I hate it myself but bulking up bring some fat, it really depends on your goals. Take me, im trying to bulk so i dont really care about losing fat because once i start running the fat drop so damn fast. I also ways run to keep the bf down anyway. You can add a little bit of cardio just for general conditioning/health purposes, but pick one goal at a time. Either work on adding muscle or work on dropping fat.
