Not saying you Northern boys have it easy far from it I couldn't imagine living through one of those bad winters just saying it not all peaches and cream down here.

working out in the heat is a killer.. I consider myself an elite construction worker. I out work almost all of those around me, and take pride in doing so. When the weather starts to climb above 90 and the humidity is around 100% I can't handle it. A headache sets in I become nauseous and I'm donen

I've been working in this cold all year here in the Great Lakes Region. I love the cold, snow and even hot and humid. I have to admit, it's still cold here (yesterday morning 16*F) and I am getting tired of it. Your body can only take so much. February was tough. Many days the Temp hovered around zero without the wind chill. And we worked. Good thing about being the foreman, you can go in the job trailer and do your reports. lol. Ready for some warmth.

These past two years have been pretty lucrative for me doing snow removal and it has been fucking cold. Many days and nights with Temps below 0. I just layer up, put my carhardt bibs on and I'm ok. I'm ok when it's hot, the humidity kills me

Fun in texas? I think their is very minimal to do here in texas. I've lived in texas all my life that weather can be nice one day, then the next day BAM! It's raining while the sun is out and humid as hell! Then it can get cold in matter of minutes. Weather here makes no sense. But like dmt said it can be easy to live here its cheap And great jobs

I never said fun, I said simpler, big difference. My idea of fun is undoubtedly way different than yours as well.

Pshh working in the south is cake.. Now full gear, full battle rattle in the box overseas. Now that gets hot. Hooah!!
