They're fairly widely available, at least in USA.
On Amazon, look for 0.22 um sterile syringe filters.

For our purposes, both will get the job done. Might consider doing a search in the Homebrew section for the basics but the basics are very basic.
That is, if you're smart enough the question the filter material (PTFE or PVDF), this will be no problem for you.
I'm also curious about best practices regarding the media bottles.

People use both PTFE and PVDF.
Might be some subtle differences depending on carrier oil, solvents, temperature, et cetera, but both work.

Gold standard for actual brew is whatman PVDF.
For the purpose of refiltering already sterile gear - I don’t think your choice of filter would matter very much as long as it’s the right size.
