Starting to plane out

I started limiting myself to 1500 calories a day about two months ago. My starting weight was 179 and I'm 5'7" with an average build. I am now 165 and have been hitting the gym hard since starting the diet. I am now leveling out and have stopped losing. My qestion is: How long does it take to start building muscle which I assume would offset my fat loss? Lets just say that I've been bulking for the past few years(lol) and I'm now starting to try and get some size and definition. Am I doing anything wrong or should I just keep up what I'm doing in regards to diet and exercise. I am doing at least an hour of cardio on my off days to keep my metabolism up. I'm watching pretty much everything I eat which includes a good balance of everything healthy and not exceeding protein or carbs. I'm just eating sensibly. I have already made significant gains in my lifting going up in my bench press significantly, which would make me think I am adding muscle. I understand I am at the very early stages of this whole regimen but I am just trying to figure out the whole process as I go along and tweak it here and there for maximum results.

Assuming your diet, training, and rest are all in check. You'll start building muscle everyday you workout.

If you're asking how long it will take to start noticing more muscle mass...that is going to be differen't for everyone...only time will tell.
