Unfortunately coinbase has been known to delete accounts without warning...out of curiosity did you send your bitcoin payment directly from coinbase to pcom, or did you send from coinbase to a wallet of your own and then to pcom?
I would imagine that sending directly from coinbase could cause an issue.

Not exactly, I researched this further and seems people have had their coinbase accounts terminated randomly. Even those who claim to never have purchased any thing illicit. If you keep buying and transferring it out right away I believe that might flag them.
