"they say the criminal underworld is involved in betting, in distributing steroids"...they are. along with narcotics, other drugs, prostitution, and anything else illegal and in demand. most call these vice crimes. really, the only crime is being illegal and unregulated. they give power to people like al capone, pablo escobar, the taliban, mexican drug cartels, and even the guy on the corner selling "dope". and these are all controlled with violence. thier legality puts otherwise law abiding citizens in a precarious position and sometimes a dangerous one. and comprimises the law with bribery or even involvement in so called vice. what is interpol trying to justify.
inadequacies in testing cast doubt on guilt and efficacy, hence non analytical rules and biological passports. as well as borderline cases. are we not innocent until proven guilty. as well as cases like marion jones. where coercion and threats are used despite evidence.
"we're not collecting enough blood"... how hard do you intend on sqeezing this stone dave. and are you a vampire. along with the extra costs and saftey measures."all those sorts of things go through a humans mind" if not it sounds like youre detached from our race. maybe thats why france shouldnt test germany. or vice versa. because we're all in this together. excellent human performance is applicable everywhere.
and ethusiasm for what. what is to be gained from drug testing in a competetive manner. sounds like someone is too concerned about winning. at all costs. to which there is no prize.
