Stimulants as weight loss drugs

Before the raise of glp1 people used to run other compounds to lose weight. Personally i dont even care about eating on extended release methylphenidate, thats why i even stopped taking it. There is also the famous eca stack with ephedrine. Medicine like mysimba or adipex. Considering that glp1 give kind of fast tolerance and get expensive quick shouldnt more "simple" options like stimulants be considered ?

Tolerance/desensitization or not 4mg reta used to slay my hunger, now a year later even 20mg has ZERO effect on my appetite. If it doesn't have something to do with the GLP-1 receptor, it is some kind of adaption. Your body always adapts and adjusts. My blood glucose stays low though so I'm clearly still getting the other effects.

Can you buy ephedrine over the counter in the US for an ECA stack? If so what product is best?
Bronkaid and primatene both have ephedrine tablets and are good I use 2 bronkaids a day so 50mg ephedrine alongside some yohimbine and caffeine fasted cardio and the other one pre workout they give a nice energy boost

Not sure if this is the place- anyone used Vyvanse for appetite control? And long term use? TIA
I've used vyvanse in the past and I have adderall prescribed now. They certainly do work for appetite control, but the side effects from long term use are gnarly. I just start to feel like shit after a while and the cardiovascular side effects are bad enough on their own, even worse when combined with AAS. These drugs have been around for years and are not bodybuilding staples for a reason.

Ive used it, was even prescribed it for weightloss. Worked in the sense that food noise left, but unlike GLP I could still binge on it. Ended up coming off of it due to not liking how it made my heart race though, there would be days where i'd be anxious about work and all the sudden id have a 110 RHR. Granted that was when I was still 350+ pounds but id assume it has the same heart rate effect on everyone.
