My Buddy Keeps Pumping These 2 Stocks
Ushg- Us Home And Garden- They Recently Signed A Government Contract For A Stun Gun That Uses Some Type Of Technology That Passes Through The Air- It Is Supposed To Be The Same Stuff Used To Disarm Cars And Trucks.
The Other Is Allos Theraputic- Alth- They Have A Cancer Drug In Stage 4.
Any Info???

Unless your buddy works for Goldman Sachs, I would avoid taking any real investing advice from friends, family and internet message boards. If you do choose to take their advice, you are not an investor you are a speculator thats gonna get creamed.

Well, not Goldaman but he is a vp for Deloitte Touche. Yes, I would agree that one should not make finincial plans based on internet boards but I disagree with with friends and family. As long as you realize the risk involved and you are not playing with money you do not have then, at least for me, there would be not hard feelings. With the way the market ran prior to 9/11 it was safe to call yourself or myself and investor. Not taking advice from people you trust makes a person a jack or all trades and you can only accomplish so much on your own. I point these stocks out and you come back and point out 3 others you have found while I was reading about these is how you make money.
On the other hand, it was just some "friendly advice"- no harm take it or leave it. I am open to listen to anyone ideas, espically if I can make a dollar doing it.

I got some friends that work for Deloitte and State St.
Pretty reliable companies. I don't see why he would have a reason to lie to you, and if I am going to take advice from someone, a VP @ Deloitte sounds like a good start

The stock Taser International Inc (TASR) is the stock to buy after it splits unless you can afford it now. I purchased 500 shares a few months ago at 19.80 per share. with in 2 months it rose to almost 100 dollars per share and then split 3 ways giving me 1500 shares of TASR at like 31.00 a share. As we speak right now it closed today 96.60 per share and is expected to split next week. I know there is a no "sure thing" but by god this is as close as it gets...... when it splits next week and you can get in for about 45 a share and can afford it, I would jump on the band wagon...

Moral, what I meant by my comment is that everyones family and friends has the next "hot stock," but unless those people are qualified (like you said yours was), then I would ignore the comments. But your buddy seems to be in a good positition to offer some good advice.

that is an incredible jump for a company....those mofo's @ taser must be pretty damn rich now.
