Maybe try alternating between heavyweight, lower volume and doing what you did and Saturday if it fucks with your head that much.

That's actually what I was thinking. Maybe pyramiding up to like a 2-3 rep max on my first exercise just keep some strength then reps for the rest of the workout. Thanks again for the ideas. I'm all about trying new things
 
Chest day was a bit different today.

Incline BB
Drop set 4 25s on each side. Reps to failure rep were
6/8/8/12
Set 2 same weight and drop. Reps were 7/6/9/11
Set 3 was 145 to failure (24 reps)

Decline
155 x 20
135 x 23

Incline hammer strength
Just one plate on each side to failure for 3 sets. Don't remember how many reps. Each rep was slow on the way down and explosive on the way up with a good squeeze at the top

Cable flies
Low to high
2 sets of 20
Mid to mid
1 set of 25
High to low
2 sets of 20

Got a few heavy sets in and a ton of volume. Pump was amazing too.
 
Well I just got my first tren cough/breathing episode after injecting with component. In some sick way I actually kind of like it. I guess I feel like it's working. Call me sick but I don't mind the sides of tren either. The only side I'm not overly fond of is the crippling cardio effects. That was most definitely one of the more intense episodes I've had. Lasted like 5-10 mins. Towards the end of the injection could taste metal and actually seemed like it almost made one of my teeth hurt lol
 
How long have you been training? Have you had any major injuries rob? I'm trying to nail down how you got so fucking strong and my guess has been slow and steady hardcore gym and diet with no big breaks. Is that right?

Lord you are a sick one. I got it the other day for the first time on this blast and now I live in fear.

You can thank the tren for the late night reply. That's exactly right. I've been consistent in the gym for the past 9ish years. By consistent I mean minimum 5 day a week. The longest I was out in that 9 years was when I hurt my back a few years ago and that was just under 2 months. Other than that its been maybe 3-7 day breaks for vacations or getting a cold. When I hurt my back it was 2 lowest disks in my back. One is completely shot and the other is protruding. Nothing life ending or crazy although I will say certain things I haven't figured out a way around just yet such as really high reps on squats. For some reason it really bothers me. I can do some decent weight and as long as I keep my breaks reasonable and low rep sets I have no problem. I've been lucky with minimal injuries. Plus I'm not the biggest guy out there and my friends that got me into lifting are all on the larger side. Like 6'5 250ish versions of me and they always made me keep up.

I've been watching a lot of big rob and mike rashid videos lately. I really like their overtraining concept. That's why you have seen so many drop sets and failure sets.

Pull ups
BW x 15
BW x 12
BW x 10

Lat pull downs (drop sets each one to failure)
Set 1
Weight 180/140/120/100/85/70
Reps 11/13/10/12/10/11
Set 2
Same weights
Reps 9/8/10/9/12/10

Wide grip cable row
I did these with another person. So we started with high weight and worked down. I did my set he did his no breaks other than while the other person was working
Weight 160/140/120/100/85/70/65
Reps 9/12/12/14/13/16/13
By the time I got to 65 it felt like a million pounds. My forearms were on fire almost to the point the bar fell out of my hands

Hammer strength high to low super set with hammer strength low to high
We did a 45 and 25 on each side of both machines. I started on high he started on low and it was non stop for 3 sets of each machine going to absolute failure each time. I can recall the exact amount of reps

Straight arm cable lat push down
Drop set
Weight 85/70/55/40
Reps 10/11/11/14

Incline pull machine
130 pounds and 3 sets to failure. Don't know exact reps but I know there was more than 20 each set

I was too wiped to do deadlifts so I'll do those in a couple days on my next leg day.


Oh yea one more thing cardio 18 mins on elliptical

I use my grill damn near every day. Hell im lucky to have one last me longer than a year or two before I burn them up.

Damn straight I'm grilling all winter long. There can be 2ft of snow I'll drag the grill out and fire it up. I just can't do baked chicken anymore. If it's not grilled I can't hack it
