Surgery

Thank you!

I would have to look at the paperwork. But, Doctor told the wifey that I had some frayed tissue he cleaned up. I assumed scar, labrum and tendon. I will find out.

Isn't it ironic how what really did it wasn't even the movement itself but getting INTO position? I can count on one hand the times I've gotten injured IN the gym. But to many to count tweaking my back doing things like getting out of bed weird or messing with my dog

Nice clean stitching...should be a minimal amount of scarring. You sure had a darn good surgeon.

More than likely the injury was already there. Tying shoes and pulling or reaching out into a awkward position is the tipping point for the injury, where a disk after a lot of aggravating bulges enough to press on the nerves and cause pain.

Good to hear you surgery went well. Does stem cell really work? I have a friend that just got surgery on his knee . They removed bone fragments. Are you using any peptides as well?

Glad to hear you came out well from your sugery @mands. I had an acquaintance get some stem cell injections done on their knee about 18 months ago. 1 weekly for the first month, then 1 monthly for the next 5 months. Did wonders for him. I know they are even using nowadays for hair growth stimulation.

How often are you going to get the stem cell injections done? Speedy recovery.

Thanks @opti and I will be opting for only a few shots after surgery. I should receive my first one in 4 weeks and then will follow with only three more shots. I might switch to PRP after that. Not sure yet.

Next week after sutures are out I decided to start BPC-157 and TB500 for anti-inflammatory and drop the ibuprofen to 200mg twice a day instead of 800mg twice a day. I could change my mind next week but that's the plan as of today.

Taking 100mg a week of Test cyp. and decided to take deca at 100mg a week instead of NPP. Still 2 iu of GH a day.

You're welcome @mands! PRP is also an excellent choice, well depending on price, obviously. If you don't me asking what is PRP going to set you back?

I've seen many blast for a week or two post-surgery in regards to HGH. Do you feel there are no benefits to blasting and then continue with a low daily dose? I do like the 100/100 - TC/ND though.

I honestly have not checked into pricing yet on the PRP. I do know that with my discount, stem cells will be $550 out of pocket per shot. I will update with PRP pricing when I have it.

I would rather see a lower dose with GH. I've seen issues with higher dose protocols doing more harm than good with tendon/bone and tissue injuries.

I assume they are blasting to elevate IGF-1 levels quickly?

I would have to say that their primary objective would be to attack the injury/surgery and let HGH do one of its primary purposes, heal.

Interesting @higher dose protocols doing more harm than good. How long will you be on this particular protocol? Will you keep at 2iu/ed throughout?

Thank you!

Just a look at 5 days post surgery. Took my bandages off and swelling is there a little and some bruising under my right arm. He did a good job it seems.

Looks pretty clean. I've seen some really bad results from some butchers out there. I have unfortunately had quite a few surgical procedures and am still amazed at what they can do. It's amazing that I have a lower leg, and I don't even limp unless I'm fatigued.

Good luck bro. I have been living with injuries in both shoulders. Getting time to do something about it.
Same here and certainly not getting any younger either. This treatment plan of Mands’ does sound interesting. Going for getting some old bone spurs removed from my right shoulder soon enough .

I'm sure you've taken time off in the past and kind of know what to expect. You're gonna lose that constantly pumped feeling and look you have from being in the gym regular and your muscles arent going to retain as much water/pump. This is gonna suck and it's not like you can drop and do some pushups to make you feel better.
Just concentrate on healing and better better. Like you said you got the muscle memory plus I suspect your not going lose much anyway.

What's up @mands! I'm just catching up on everything around here. Sorry to hear about your injury. The sutures look great & should heal nicely. Therapy is key but I know you'll kill it. Well now everyday is a day closer to where you wanna be. Good luck big homie!

Yes lower is better here. I will continue with 2 iu's throughout you are correct.

BPC-157 and TB500 starts tomorrow. Off Ibubrofen as of yesterday and shoulder is night and day from the first 3-4 days.

Head in tomorrow morning. I will update tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks @boodecarlo @4Drago @Big_paul @Thaistick I appreciate it.

I'm surprised the doc allowed the Ibuprofen. When I had my left bicep re-attached and the left rotator repaired 6 years ago the ortho was very specific as to not use any NSAIDs as it would slow the healing process.

I had plenty of pain meds and Tylenol was OK though. Good to see you're on the mend @mands. It took me about 6 months to feel 80-85% and about 1 year exactly before I would say I was 100% of my previous self and didn't have to "think" about delt when training.
