SymBiotics (U.S. domestic)

He claims to already have had the filters and autoclaves.
I remember that comment but 7 filters and 2 autoclaves is huge, just the filters alone are 14-28k. Didn’t see the model of the mid mark autoclaves but that’s another 3-5k for a newish model used, 5-8k new.

So this guy just happens to have 20-40k+ worth of equipment laying around from some previous hobby, that also conveniently was able to be used for filtering “biodiesel”. That alone throws a bunch of red flags. I know all about biodiesel, use it and make it, and any commoner taking a step back would realize the ridiculousness as well.

For instance, some buddy needs “biodiesel” in random containers filtered but it’s always a liter or so at a time and you can’t mix any of these individual liters together? Even 20 compounds at 2liters each is 40 liters, a shit ton of containers. And only about 10 gallons. So this buddy came by with containers of “biodiesel” in quantities so small and so infrequent that it’s useless for a vehicle to run on, and none of the containers could be cross contaminated, and all had to be filtered separately? And ol boy did this for 4 years he said before “catching on?”

Again holes and red flags all in that story, if someone came by and said they need me to filter “biodiesel” but each container has to be done separate, with a separate filter and everything has to be sterile to .22 micron, and you need to filter it into this sterile container so I have sterile fuel the fuel going into my trucks fuel tank..... and no red flags seen by a 25 year scientist or whatever his cover story is?

We’ve already discussed the fact that certain details of his background could/would be made up to obfuscate his true identity, but details like this don’t confuse LE, they confuse the client(us). Again think about it, “Sterilizing biodiesel” in these tiny sterile containers in quantities that no vehicle could use. And he already had the equipment, so wtf did he have all this filtering equipment for when the biodiesel buddy stopped by?

Like, let me say that again. He spent 4 years sterilizing a liter(guessing) of biodiesel at a time. When in the fuck would you ever think fuel going into a gas(diesel) tank needs to be sterilized. Any average person would spot the red flags there. But here we have some type of scientist who had all of this equipment and well versed in sterilization techniques was fooled and the thought never crossed his mind, for four years?

Maybe I’m mixing up the details of his story and I need to re-read but it doesn’t make any sense and does nothing to add a layer of security, only confuse the hell out of people like me. Now I’m thinking he’s either lying about random details that make no difference and still don’t explain why he has pro levels of equipment. Or, he was gullible enough to fall for this biodiesel story what else is he gullible enough to fall for in the black market world? Is he smart enough to get BTC changed into fiat without screwing up and getting caught and putting us at risk?

I completely agree. That’s not even factoring in other major expenses. Flow hoods are far from cheap and 26 test results from w&m would be around 4K. Add in lab equipment like the beaker drying rack, glassware, and kg quantities of raws the numbers start looking stupid high. The holes you poked in the biodiesel backstory make me scratch my head as well. Some things with this source just don’t add up at all.

If I may put it out there,
What your saying is, buddy was too smart to think he was doing biodiesel.

Which means friend here, was the brewer/Chemist for another UGL and most likely knew.

I means, to the OP, you've got your ducks in a row and know your shit.

Am I wrong in my summary @mp46 ?

If so,
Those quantities were large enough and often enough....
That the original source could be well known.
Who was it?

Or, I'm just too much of a paranoid conspiracy theorist lol
