SymBiotics (U.S. domestic)

I think it would be helpful to try to not repeat this same conversation over again. I paid money and typed thousands of words back and forth during the process of documenting a "head-to-head" comparison of analytical services.
Two samples were submitted to each of two analytical services; and the results were near identical.
Both chemists correctly identified the compounds and their concentrations/purity.
Please see post #4125
I don't know why I can't link it here.

In the big picture, I see it like this:
Everyone here has read every good and bad encounter that has been posted with all the UGLs and testers. The commonly regurgitated phrase "a UGL is only as good as their last batch or a chemist is only as good as their last test" is almost wasted verbiage in my opinion; in that, the same thing is true of ANY service in any realm of commerce.
I remember once, years ago, KFC had some issue with the "Original Recipe" and people didn't like it, or something to that effect-------this afternoon the KFC in my town was standing room only with some high school buses parked outside.
Peter Pan peanut butter was recalled a few years ago because of E. coli contamination------the store in my town runs out of it regularly (it's my favorite brand).
There are probably thousands more easily found examples of the "last batch" not being perfect, even from multi-million dollar businesses.

All of this is to say that people with a vested interest in the success of their work will do what is necessary to correct the mistakes that inevitably will be made if they work long enough in the same field. I know that I, personally, promised you all I would make a mistake sooner or later. I cannot expect absolute perfection from myself; so there is no way I would ever expect it from someone else. What I do expect of myself and demand from others is best effort.

It is an alien experience for me here, where positive comments about sources/services are met with disdain, sarcasm, and ridicule; but negative comments about a provider are encouraged and compounded upon by the next poster. In most of the instances where I have read someone presenting an alternative point of view to a negative comment about a UGL or analytical service; that person is given a negative label of "shill" or "dick rider". It just seems so unnecessary to always be so angry:)
I guess I have always tried to surround myself with positivity and always given the next guy the benefit of the doubt until I am certain of wrongdoing without the intent to reconcile.
I know-----I live in a dream world that could probably have only existed many years ago:( But I like to look for the silver linings.

The short version of all this is:
@janoshik and @Labf4Tox were pitted against each other in blind tests and the results were the same.

You make good points. But you need to understand it from our perspective, MOST UGLs are negative people. They’ve made bad life decisions and can no longer work real jobs or function in normal society. Some are total drug addicts, hooked. Some have criminal histories. Some make just shitty decisions. As a result they take shortcuts and apply those bad life decision making skills to this enterprise too.

TGI was an exception to the negative reviews. If a guy went and said something negative there he could expect to get bashed. He was popular and favored. But then he got busted and we find out he’s intoxicated at 7:07 on a Thursday morning firing a gun inside his house. Later we see that his driveway had as many burnouts as an NHRA 1/4 mile. Just further demonstrating that UGLs are operating outside of the normal KFC, Peter Pan, Coca Cola legitimate corporate world.

You don’t have shareholders watching you. You don’t have a headquarters where Karen can address complaint letters. There’s no one we can file a grievance or a report with. You operate exclusively on TRUST and the feedback that is provided here. Pristine demonstrated that multiple times. Gemstone and Grayscale talked a good game and then sent vials with floaters. That’s all negative. R&R was here for a summer, just 3 months, before taking at least $5,000 to $10,000 one weekend in an exit scam, rumored to be intentional to fund his real drug-dealing enterprise that involves importing shit from over the southern border. See what we’ve dealt with here?

You *sound* completely different @SymBiotics but it’s impossible for us to verify anything that you say for opsec reasons. It could all be honest or it could all be a very well crafted story. There’s a lot of Breaking Bad sounding similarities. I described the other UGLs that are now gone. And that’s contrasted by your scientific real-life business, family man, who goes to church on Sundays. Sorry, a lot of us just can’t buy all that at face value. As positive as you may be, there is A LOT of negative competition surrounding you here in the Underground.

We help ourselves out. Members for members and YOU are the outsider, the one we don’t trust (we want to, but we simply can’t). We’ll always be cynics and skeptics because of past experiences. Maybe you’ll change all that and prove to be exactly who you describe but that’s going to take a long time and I’m sure you’re only here for another couple months anyway. Most UGLs don’t last more than a year.

Keep doing what you’re doing. Your transparency is appreciated. Your testing is also appreciated. But you can’t expect us to embrace you whole-heartedly. That’s not going to happen. This is an anonymous forum and you could literally be ANYONE. It’s been shown time and time again.

I feel a slow clap coming on. This was beautifully articulated man. I feel.... inspired!

Just kidding, but this was definitely well written and 100% spot on.

Excellent and well written brother.

To @BigBaldBeardGuy point, I’ve had a very positive experience with @SymBiotics and look forward to continuing to do business with him. However this statement is only true until it isn’t. Hopefully Sym operates the way he does for a long time, but if things changes a new dependable source will pop up.

We need to continue as a community to help and support each other, as what we’re doing puts so much blind faith in some random stranger on the internet.

I have had a similar experience. No complaints at this point. Too early to say more.

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with gear but I do like how he has no shame in identifying as a Christian. To each his own but I just find that refreshing.

Yes, and he makes the most delicious moist chocolate chip brownies for the church bake sale...

Could all be part of the storyline [emoji2369] Maybe he spends Sunday mornings kidnapping puppies and stomping through flower beds. You don’t know, I don’t know.

Point is that it’s all extraneous. The ONLY thing that matters here is whether the gear is safe and dosed accurately.

TGI was supposed to be a “standup guy” but then he paid to have a “hit” done on a member that was banned. That’s gotta give everyone a good fuzzy feeling. We were supposed to learn from that.

I have absolutely nothing against @SymBiotics. I think he’s made good moves here. He seems to be transparent. I love his testing - always a fan of that. He’s made mistakes but he’s owned them and made corrections.

There is a reason MESO is MESO though and I believe that it works. Sources are not our friends. This is an anonymous board - they could be ANYONE just like any of us could be anyone. Hell, @Elroy Jetson pretends to be an ATF agent with friends in DEA but doesn’t know any more details than what he reads here.

There has been A LOT of lies told here. There have been “good” sources and bad. There’s been sources that help out. There’s been sources that have threatened members children (think about that one).

My advice is to always be cautious. The words you read aren’t always accurate because of very many reasons. I hope @SymBiotics is a “good” source. We want those here. But statistics tells me “he’s only as good as his last batch”. You send that bitcoin off and you are relying solely on trust and the reviews from fellow members here.

Edit: Everyone here should read the stickied threads at the top of the page. A lot of those guys don’t come around too often but that gives you a lot of info as to why MESO is what it is. It also educates on the whole “harm reduction” aspect. Too many new guys scroll right past that stuff too eager and excited to get their stuff. Take a few minutes to read it.

But does Jesus smile upon or frown upon illegal activity?
I’m sure

I get that it could all be a good made up story but I just found the Christian part refreshing. So someone really put out a hit out a member on here? Did I read that right?

I really want to suck your dick right now. I'm not going to because gross, but you're definitely earning one.

Where is @MindlessWork ? He owes something to the board. Time to pay back.
