A couple days ago you kind of talked me out of getting a refund from Sym. I was just wondering to your knowledge is there that much more of a risk receiving a refund VS me sending him BTC? Just wondering because again, I’m thinking It might be better to go the refund route.

Think it through. If Sym never ever gets caught and never ever is investigated then there’s zero risk.

But...

If Sym gets caught and they look to see where he sent money (and they will because they want that money as an asset to seize) do you want that wallet to be linked to you?

How much money are you out? If it’s not much then take it as a loss. But it’s not really a loss cause you’re going to filter what you received already anyway.

I understand that, and by him sending me free gear I wasn’t claiming that was him fixing the issue. I was just trying to let anyone know that was waiting to be taken care of that he was at least sticking to his word with either a refund or reship.
