SymBiotics (U.S. domestic)

The fact that so many of you guys condemned this source but continue to carry on the thread is beyond me lol if you all mean what you said, than let it die. You guys have this thread bumping like it's the place to be on Meso lol just stop posting here.
I'm just wondering how many Jesus fish ole sym is going to post to offset the fine T&A collection he has going on in his thread.

I think Texas is going to see a population surge. There’s good leadership there and I’m jealous during this whole covid shit. There’s way too many bleeding heart do-gooders with no brains on the East and west coasts.
You still have to wear masks everywhere though, including the gym while working out.

It’s weird the kids wear a mask here when getting to school and leaving school but they take them off in the classroom???? This shit has me so baffled really. I’ve heard that kids can’t carry it. I’ve heard they don’t carry it. I’ve heard they are the best carriers. Lol. NOBODY KNOWS!!! CARRY ON!!!:D

Just like when the virus started it was: “it spreads on surfaces” and “masks don’t work that well” now it’s the complete opposite. It’s fairly obvious they really don’t know any more than the rest of us. It’s learning to live with it until they come out with a vaccine. I’m not letting this virus control my way of living my life. Fuck that

Texas schools are open. We were given a choice of virtual at home schooling where a kid sits in front of a screen for 8 hours or back to the old school way of school. We chose the latter of course.

Same in my part of TX. We were given the option to either go to school or do online for the first 9 weeks I believe.

My parents and sister chose to keep my nieces out of school and do online for the time being. It was a very tough decision but my parents just didn’t feel comfortable having my nieces go to school and then come to their house afterwards. Dad has health issues and mom was a smoker until recently so they are both scared to death of covid.

Gyms have been open here for months. I believe they only shut down for February and part of March and have been open since.

Not really. I train at two gyms. Lifetime and a local one. Lifetime makes you wear a mask to get in the door but that’s it. The rule is if you can distance by 6’ no mask is required. Therefore you just use every other treadmill and keep your distance while training and no mask is required. Lifetime is a huge facility so it’s easy to distance.

My other gym doesn’t require a mask at all.

I live in a very small town. Two places to buy gas. One requires a mask. The other doesn’t. Lots of old people in this town. Some wear a mask. Others have acted like this was bullshit from the start. My wife’s parents and her aunts are all over weight and have all kinds of health issues and they’ve all been just fine. My wife and I keep the kids from them most of the time out of respect to them but they still slip in for a hug every now and then. I am lucky enough to not have to deal with many people during the course of my day. I spend more time with my family than anywhere else. Oilfield went to shit when Covid came around. I’m a oilfield veteran so I had a few dollars stashed away for a rainy day. I actually spent 6 straight months with my kids. Fucking loved it. God Bless Covid!
News reports state there are at least a hundred cases in towns all around us but strangely none here? Shit will get back to “normal” after the election. Sorry for the rant. Lol.

There’s a gym in the Jersey side of the Philly area here that is defying the order and has racked up $130,000 in fines and facing $15,000 fine/day moving forward. So I can understand the $50 fee.

So much for free market capitalism when you have governors dictating how you operate legitimate small businesses. Work to make your dreams come real and then your forced to sit and watch that dream wither and rot away to push a fucking political agenda.

free market capitalism? So what do we call
the half trillion dollars that this administration put aside for bailouts for these massive corporations? Corporate socialism? If we were truly a free market like the right would like you the believe then half a trillion of our dollars would have been freed up and able to have been reallocated to other sectors which we need then propping up large corporations. They should burn and in their ashes new businesses grow. I’m sorry, but if you can’t survive a pandemic and economic collapse, that’s on them. Yes, Obama bailed out the banks and Detroit auto in 08...but he shouldn’t have.

as for gyms vs Walmart... there’s a huge difference between standing in aisle 5 for 45 seconds with a mask and moving at a pace that you aren’t near failure and sitting in a gym for an hour or two near people... sweating, breathing heavily, exhaling on each rep, sharing machines, spitting, etc.

Good to know. Last I heard masks were required even for working out. Some clown at my gym was wearing a full mask and goggles. I was hoping he would’ve passed out.

glad you got to spend time with your kids and were able to manage your money. I’m not surprised that you don’t have high cases of covid in your town at all. You live in a small town, older population, two gas stations, etc. I’m assuming there aren’t mass gatherings, huge social centers, tourists coming from all over the globe to visit, etc. so equating your experience to it disappearing after the election is purely anecdotal.

Actually we have visitors from all over. From California to the Rio Grande Valley. They all stop at our big store. Manager of said store is also a devout member of a church here that hasn’t quit gathering. Banks, stores, etc have all been open. My in-laws all go to the store and post office and shit and just continue to be just fine. Lol. My family has done our best to distance ourselves but my wife works in the local bank? She’s sees people everyday. No masks in the bank. Maybe I’m just lucky?

Again, your community church gathering and people quickly stopping by to shop at your big store is vastly different than larger communities with tourism and larger populations and infrastructure.

I come from the land of many big stores, many churches of all sorts of denominations, gas stations as far as the eye can see, and an international tourist destination. We got slammed until we locked down.
